There are multiple options to get rewards in the app, especially on the map. Step counter is working fine. The most important - you can get real money just for walking. I"ve done two withdrawals already.

This app made my experience great because it is fun to use and it was interactive. As you walk or run, you can collect coins and spin the slot machines on landmarks. I greatly like that 🫶🏼💗

Love Macadam
Love Macadam. Would have rated 5* however, its become quite difficult to cash out. It takes some patience to land a date where all the transfers havent been filled. All that being said, I have earned real money. I play games which bumps my coins more than walking. Overall its a good app and I have recommended to many people 🙂

Harder to get rewards recently
They've been making it harder to get rewards. The app hasn't been syncing properly with Fitbit/Google health therefore wasn't getting all my steps which led to not getting rewards. I also don't like how you have to do games or surveys to get the crowns and not just have it by steps. It means that I end up spending more time on my phone than walking which isn't really the idea of the app.
It does work, I recently cashed out about £60 of preloaded visa cards which is over around 8 months, have previously cashed around £100 Amazon vouchers. I've stopped using the app now though due to the fact you do have to do the games and surveys regularly, which was affecting my home life having to sit on my phone all that time

I really enjoy the macadam app
I really enjoy the macadam app, it motivates me to move. I really enjoy the graphics and characters and having extra challenges in the different countries.
The customer service team are excellent and always get back to me very quickly and always resolve the problem.
Cash out is quick and easy and I’ve never had a problem with it.
My only slightly negative is the surveys. It says 3 minutes, then it’s 15! - a five minute survey is enough for me! Also you click on a survey and they time you out so you only get a few coins- in my experience! It would be great not to repeat age, date of birth every time and for it to be self populated.

I use the app every day for motivation…
I use the app every day for motivation and have cashed in on a reward 3 times now. The app graphics have been designed well though some of the animations can be slow. I like the gamification of walking with the side quests.
