They constantly lie to you and had trouble getting my deposit back.
When there is an issue with the property, they tell you that they will pass it on to the Landlord, however they never did.
They talk as if it is a big team, however only 3 family members.
They are showing a picture of their offices in Brandon, however that has been closed for at lease 6 months.

I am a current tenant (or ex tenant ) of a property this company acts as letting agent for. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Their response to requests for repairs is spotty at best. At times repairs are done in good time, sometimes after long delays/multiple reminders, sometimes not at all. Almost without fail to a very low/inadequate standard. Although to be fair to MAC they could be acting under instruction to hire the cheapest (and hence poorest quality) tradespeople. As I fear a "revenge eviction" or other action I don't want to go into too much detail that might identify me. However, I have found their general conduct to be poor - frequent lies/gaslighting - occasional missed appointments etc. They like to present an image of friendliness and reliability - don't be taken in. If you are unlucky enough to be a tenant of theirs I recommend restricting all communication to letter/email and retaining a copy. If, for example, in an emergency you have to use phone - always follow up with an email confirming the details and any promises made by them. Remember, verbal promises aren't worth the paper they are written on.
