Initially we trawled through Airbnb and other holiday booking sites for hours looking at 100's villas in Kalkan and the surrounding area. Time and time again after carefully selecting a villa, when we tried to book it we found it either wasn't available (even though dates showed it was) but often worse was also listed with several different individuals/people?! I become quite nervous of scams esp. as I was booking for 10 people. Then I came across Lycian Escapes. I called the company and spoke to the director Tamer directly on the phone. It became immediately obvious he knew the area and the villas he was offering very well, down to the smallest detail. He immediately put me at ease with our booking.
From arrival in the early hours of the morning we were treated we with 5 star service. Tamer also recommended a sister car/tour company 'Divine Tours' who were also excellent and v.good value.
Everything was done on trust from both sides and no one hassled us for money. I would 100% recommend this company and hope to book with them again soon. We stayed Villa Ilda which was luxurious and had views to die for. Thanks Lycian Escapes! : )
