Three spam calls to my personal number…
Three spam calls to my personal number in 2 days. I never allowed this, so this is a clear breach of GDRP. I will report this to the ICO and i recommend everyone else does too.
Lusha have shared my personal phone…
Lusha have shared my personal phone number to who knows how many businesses. I have opted out via the telephone preference service as well as following their lengthy opt out process, yet I am still receiving calls so they are breaching GDPR requirements as flagged by everyone else giving them a 1 star rating.
I've made many GDPR right to be…
I've made many GDPR right to be forgotten requests to this company who steal my data and sell it. As soon as its deleted, they re-steal it and I get more calls of harassment. Their defense is because they deleted my data they didn't have me on the list so they just re-stole and re-sold the list.
Received a text from this company
Received a text from this company, who acquired my number (in a GDPR region) without my permission. Text said "Your business contact information is processed by Lusha Systems Inc." So someone either gave my number to them, or they skimmed it from some source illegally, because it isn't publicly available. Their source phone number just says "Lusha", which shouldn't be legal.
I initially thought it was a scam and reported the message as junk, but after I saw an ad onine, I decided to try the opt-out process. They require me to give both my phone and email, so they are collecting even more data. Their policy says they will retain this ("archive") for 7 years. There is no way for me to protest this, so either I do nothing, and know that they have my number and will use it for their customers' marketing campaigns, or they will also have my email, and I have to hope they obey the law. I smell a class-action suit brewing.
If you are a potential customer, you should think very seriously before using such a service, and be prepared to get plenty of GDPR notices.
Illegal Activity!
Similar to everyone else, my contact details have been stolen by this company and being distributed without my permission. I am now receiving up to 50 unsolicited calls every day!
Invading privacy without consent
Giving out private phone numbers to spam callers - what a business model.
Absolutely despicable that this company makes money on invading privacy without consent.
0 stars if I could
0 stars if I could. This is a scammy, spammy organisation who steals your data illegally, then requires you to put even more data into their database 'so they can suppress it.'
There's no way this is GDPR compliant, but since they're based in the US (ostensibly), it's nearly impossible to do anything about it.
schould be opt-in. not Opt -out
Now I need to opt out? The should automaticly get my details and sel it! No intrest in being spammed with sale calls
They're sketchy
They're sketchy. I received an email asking me to opt out. I never even signed up for any services related to them. I don't like it.
Legitimate Interest does not = right to harvest my personal number without consent - and sell it
To echo other users, I have been receiving a high volume of wholly unsolicited calls to my personal mobile. I have never provided content for it to be used for ANY marketing/sales purpose.
In the last 6 weeks, I have been getting random calls - all irrelevant - and when asked where my number came from - Lusha is the answer.
This is flagrant abuse of GDPR, and to anyone else impacted report directly to the ICO if in the UK.
When it works its ok
When it works its ok. But its often buggy and when you reach out to support, during normal business hours, no one responds.
When dealing with support, the answers were not transparent (if you have a bug just say you have a bug).
Are selling private phone numbers…
Are selling private phone numbers without consent!
Lusha
Lusha, cuts to the chase so to speak. Allowing you as a Business Developer to ensure you have the straightest, quickest path to having a conversation with a Decision Maker. Its as simple as that. Why is this important? It reduces your sales cycle length by approximately 40%. That is my personal estimate. Put a seasoned person without Lusha beside me, they will make triple the calls, triple the noise and get 40% less traction than me. Example: They would need to make 175 calls to my 100 to get even a half of my meetings. Good luck without Lusha.
User-Friendly Interface and Accurate…
User-Friendly Interface and Accurate Contact Info (to an extent)
Illegal use of personal data
They somehow got my email and sent unsolicited messages. They collected my personal data against my will, hence illegally.
Awful company
They're leeches on society offering no real value other than to take other peoples data without their consent, selling it on to companies so they can cold call you.
Tired of receiving work related sales…
Tired of receiving work related sales calls on a daily basis on my person phone number. This scamming company is making money from my data - they never asked me to collect or retain my personal information.
4.5/5
So helpful but there are times that the number is owned by other person, and the email isn't accurate. But wonderful experience.
A key to success in business
Lusha is very easy to use and gives very focused contacts thanks a formidable AI engine
LUSHA IS THE WORST! They make up emails that don't exist
They make up emails that don't exist! I am so tired of receiving spam emails from Lusha customers who are being deceived. I have a catch-all setup in my email, meaning that any email for my domain is received by me. Every other day I receive a new email to a new email address on my domain and the names are totally made up. There is no Chris, no Tanashia, no Ryan, no Brad. It is all made up!!
Lusha are scammers and they won't even honor my request to stop doing that. Makes me so mad. Please boycott Lusha.
You are wasting your money if you even think of using their services.
