I purchased a Pod PRO 8 + Mini Chiller 2 from Lumi.
Where to start with this review, well, first off, lets get the ice bath and chiller out of the way. The ice bath appears to be quite well made and once inflated, is very sturdy and retains this once it full of water. The lid fits very well and is easy to remove. The chiller works quite well, although I am not sure that it will get the water down to the supposedly 2 or 3c when the weather is warm, that said it managed to get it down to 6c during the recent warm spell. The ice bath and chiller are fairly easy to setup together, and it does cool the water quite efficiently, however, the chiller unit can be quite noisy.
On the whole I am quite happy with the combination, so why the low review score. Well, this is to do with Lumi. I had a few issues when the ice bath and chiller were delivered, there was a reducing hex nipple, 1/2" BSP to 3/4" BSP, for the cam-lock adapter missing, and there was damage to the front of the chiller. I tried to contact Lumi to get these issues sorted out, I sent several emails, tried the contact form on the website several times, and even tried the chatbot on the website, all to no avail, and as I write this they have not been in touch and its been more than a week since I tried to get help. I the end I managed to source missing part from a alternate vendor, just so I could get it working, and then to make things worse, I had also ordered additional chiller filters which arrived a week after the main delivery, which was fine but either Lumi or Fedex put the items in the Royal Mail postal system and neglected to pay for delivery, so I have pay that before Royal Mail would deliver them, all in all, the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Looking back, I would rather pay slightly more and get this from an alternative vendor and have good customer service, would never buy from them again.
very poor customer service, chat bot says that they will answer in 10 mins but no response. No response to emails or cases been 5 days and now chatbot down just really bad customer service. Products are really good but if have an issue they have zero follow up care.

It’s now day 5 after my chiller purchase I have a faulty chiller that can’t be used.. lumi support team have done nothing to help no response. I want a full refund so that I can purchase a new chiller from a more reputable brand the lumi after sales and faulty chillers are a total waste of time.. they promote wellness but clearly don’t preach it..
I’m very disappointed to firstly be ignore with no reply to solve my missing item, and secondly frustrated that you have made an error with the amount of items sent for delivery. Your reviews for customer service are very poor looking online. There’s no telephone number available which is also very poor customer service from a company.

Recently purchased the lumi pod pro and mini chiller 2 combo bundle. So far I’m well impressed. The pod is good quality and the chiller is very good even with the extremely hot weather we’ve had the last few days.
Even used it just to cool down with all this heat 😀
Seems to be working well with my recovery. Fairly easy to assemble. The only niggle is for some reason I’m unable to connect to wi-fi even after checking my router data and using both recommended apps which is a little frustrating but it works fine manually.
My pod arrived missing pieces. I was told I would be sent them and I haven’t been. I managed to purchase an alternative part from B&Q however the pod absolutely stinks of chemicals. I won’t be using it again as after two washes the clothes I had on still stink. I would say sitting in a pool of chemicals will negate any alleged health benefits. Really wouldn’t recommend for multiple reasons.
I was incredibly disappointed with my recent purchase.
I received my Pod MAX Ultra Ice Bath as ordered; but when I opened the box & checked the contents, there was no manual included, so I had to resort to YouTube videos for support. Then bizarrely the pump included not only does not fit, but is different to the one on the website & in fact looks like one for a bike tyre?
The product therefore is useless. Seems very strange to see so many 5 star reviews, with what I have experienced!

I purchased a Lumi Sauna Max in 2025. It is still in warranty. I finally opened it up last week to discover that there was no remote control or cap for the inside inflatable frame. I was asked to pay for the replacement remote which I thought was ok given I hadn't opened it for almost 10 months. Then when I set it up the inner frame was not sealed properly and they said that this would not be dealt with under the 12 month warranty - despite my product still being under warranty. They said I had to buy a new inner frame and would not send it to me under warranty. The customer service agent sent me some text in an email which indicated a 6 month warranty for the frame. I've just searched online for all warranty references related to the Sauna Max and they all indicate one year. I am very disappointed and will never buy a Lumi product again. I don't recommend it to anyone either because they don't honour their warranties.
stupid case study and made me want to die. why on earth do you have to balance the marketing mix, you stupid company all i wanted was a 5 and you made me very unhappy. maybe you should start a clothing brand instead of the other option 2 i chose on the 9 marker again i will say you stupid company, never do this again

I purchased a sauna and I’m very happy with the product. The installation and delivery process was smooth and the customer service was fantastic. The sauna looks great and is very easy to use
Sent the wrong item, no refund or resolution. I ordered a dry robe and they sent the wrong colour. I returned but LUMI refused to issue an exchange until they received it back. Now they’ve received it back I’m no longer receiving any replies to my emails and I’m £130 out of pocket with no product.

I’ve been looking for sauna for some time to practice both hot and cold therapy daily from the comfort of my own home. After researching many companies I personally felt Lumi offered one of the most stylish, yet affordable saunas on the market. I purchased the Sauna Pro Infrared sauna and have been using for several months now and have loved being able to integrate hot and cold therapy into my morning wellbeing routine.
A big bonus to this sauna aside from how it looks and the build quality was also having built in Bluetooth connection with speakers to listen to podcasts or ambient music during my sauna.
My overall experience from the customer service team was exceptional and the installation team were brilliant in setting up the sauna and demonstrating how to use it.

The Customer Support has been excellent. The product (sauna) is great we love it. We did have a technical issue unfortunately but we reported this to Lumi and emails were picked up and responded to quickly and within about an hour or so we had a schedule for the technicians to visit. When the guys arrived they were great too. Fixed the issue rapidly, no fuss, no mess. Great service all round. Would highly recommend both the products and the team.

First time using lumi for a cold pod- bought the max version in November 2024 in the sale.
Kept it boxed indoors until recently when my old cold pod died after 5 years of regular use and decided to take my new one out of hibernation!
Set it up outside on brand new rubber matting, filled it up and left it overnight-ready to use in the morning.
Got up and noticed a massive puddle of water on the matting- so it’s obviously leaking from somewhere!
Checked the valve but it’s dry, it appears to be coming from the floor of the pod.
Anyway, contacted the company through their chat system…. Waited ages for someone to respond, and was told that because the warranty is 30 days for these pods, ( uk law states 1year), I was not covered by their warranty, but I could purchase a new one for 10% off because they’re on special offer just now!
Anyway, Lumi I’ll not be buying anything else from your company as I don’t expect a product to be faulty straight out the box! (And yes I know I had it for nearly 18 months before I took it out the box!)

The insulation wrapping completely split within a year and all I was offered was a 10% discount for a new one. Had already had a two replacement lids. The overall build quality is poor.

Customer service is so bad it’s painful. Been going back and forth since beginning of February trying to get a pump to blow up the tub. Dealt with 3/4 different people who have done nothing about it. I would never consider buying anything from this company again. Beyond a joke

I am extremely disappointed with how this order and subsequent complaint have been handled.
My delivery, carried out by FedEx, was not delivered within multiple stated delivery windows provided throughout the day. These repeated inaccuracies meant I had to take additional time off work unnecessarily.
When the item was eventually delivered the following day, it was left on my doorstep in full view of the street, despite clear delivery instructions to leave it in a secure location. This created an avoidable security risk.
I contacted FedEx directly, who acknowledged fault on their part and have offered compensation for the service failure.
Despite this, Lumi have refused to offer any goodwill gesture and have since stopped responding to my correspondence.
I also attempted to raise this issue via Lumi’s Facebook page, however my comments were removed, which was disappointing as I was simply trying to resolve the matter.
Overall, this experience has fallen well below what I would expect in terms of both delivery handling and customer service.
