DO NOT use this company. I ordered a ceiling fan in March it arrived fine. But now I am receiving additional charges, same amount every time, $25.45. I contacted Lumens and their fraud squad, I was told I hadn't paid the full balance. This is not true. The charge from May was removed, but today a new charge came through. This company is a scam.
Think very hard before using this company - do your research! I did not and paid for it with a lot of frustration and no product in the end.
I bought 3 Monrovia lights (ELK lighting brand) for our porch via Paypal (paid up front) June 2021. Instead of shipping all 3 at the same time, they shipped 1 (broken) then the return process...then 1 replacement light (broken)...then the return process...then I questioned why they can't ship all 3 together in a 2nd larger box to protect them and why could I not get them at the same time? Then emails after emails, month after month, asking where the product was and they (Lumens) telling us supply-chain issues...kept moving the delivery date. After 9 months, they email me saying they can't get the lights and they refund me 2 separate refunds short $157 of the total cost! At least 3 more calls and more emails over a span of weeks to do THEIR accounting to get that refunded. Supply-chain issues considered, they should have and could have handled this better.
I bought some ceiling fans from them. Ultimately, I got a good deal on the fans and I like them.
My issue is really on the administrative/accounting side of their business.
I placed an order for two fans. A couple weeks later they refunded my money. The only way I found out was looking at my credit card statement. That left me wondering if they were cancelling the order or were going to process it when the fans came in. I didn't know if I needed to order from someone else or not.
Two months go by and I see they charged my credit card for the fans. A few days later, I see a second charge on my card for the same amount. I call them and I am told they have no record of my being charged and I would have to wait until the accounting department opened (they are on the west coast) They would call me back later that day. A couple days go by with no word. I check my CC and the second charge has been removed. A few days after that, I get an email saying they shipped my fans. A few days after that I get another email saying they shipped my fans again. I received my order and all is well with it but I wonder if I will find a second shipment at my door soon. The whole time I've dealt with them I don't have a clue what they are doing and they don't seem to have a clue either.
I would consider buying from them again but should someone else have the same product at a comparable price I'd probably go with them to avoid dealing with their lack of organization.
I ordered two lamps costing over $700 one I recieved and put it together just fine. The second my huband noticed that the metal rods connecting the main spine of the lamp to the base came apart from the spine. I called an was immediately told to call the manufacturer and offered ZERO assistance as a customer. I mean nothing, the rep rushed me off and was like bye, do you need anything else. YES some service. Had I seen any of these reviews before hand I would have NEVER shopped here. I will try the manufacturer, if I get any run around I am calling American Express immediatly and having them handle. I am confidant they will understand my issue with the lack of service. Lumens then had the never to ask for feedback for a customer survey, I gave them a 1, If I could have given them a zero I would have Dont shop here - they do not care
terrible problems getting back to me. When they did I got an assistant to Robert McHolt as He is always to busy. She sold me the wrong switch for two low-voltage setups.I emailed and have telephoned on and off for months. Robert finally got back to me with an uninformative email. Again I am awaiting clarification. These guys do not offer the service they claim.If you need advice go elsewhere. But I was pleased with the correct stuff that was delivered..
I purchased a product that was delivered damaged and long story short, after multiple attempts to get an undamaged part I gave up and decided to return the item.
My issue with Lumens is not the damaged product (since they are just the retailer), but the return process. This has been two months process so far and I still haven't received my money back despite the item being picked up and delivered to the manufacturer weeks ago. I'm doing weekly calls requesting the refund and every single time I call I get a different story or excuse on why the refund hasn't processed yet. I do not recommend buying from here and this has been one of my most regretful purchases ever.
I spent so much time searching through hundreds of lights to find the perfect set. Shipping was supposed to be about a week out. I paid for the lights and 2 months later they just cancel my order (only after I checked with them a 2nd time for an update) No compensation or coupon for the fact that they have been holding over $1,000 for 2 months and now I need to order from someone else I guess when I eventually get my refund.

Lumens doesn't seem to care whether you receive your product or not. We are having major issues receiving a $600+ chair. We are home nearly all the time working, yet it never gets delivered, and they claim to deliver it, but that's not true. When I contact Customer Service, they just regurgitate the order tracking update from FedEx, but do not help in any meaningful way to resolve this issue. This product is about a week late and counting. So I have been on the phone with FedEx trying to figure this out and wasting my time. I'd buy products from a company who cares about the whole customer experience and that definitely is not Lumens.
I like the company, I have ordered a few things from them and everything has been fine with the exception of one open-box item I got that was damaged and I have yet to get a solution for that issue. Overall I find the customer care has been responsive and they do price match, unless its a discounted item which is alright. They have a good selection of lights ( I have never ordered any home decor items from them) Overall so far I haven't had any horrible issues and the shipping has always been pretty fast with all the lights I ordered so. I like to use the chat option on the website too which seems like a fast response vs the phone imo.
I ordered a Tizio lamp. I thought-weather has been horrible.I called a month after the ship date and it had been canceled.They "Sent me an email"I didn't receive.Declined to give me a discount for my trouble.They don't care.
We purchased a coffee table from Lumens - very bad idea. We ordered the table in July 2020, received it October 2020 and by January, it was a mess. Chips, scratches - the material was so cheap the finish just about flaked off. We complained about this $800 coffee table was was told the manufacturer claimed "normal wear". We sent several photos as requested. Lumens customer service - who we had to chase down several times for a resolution - said sorry, we can send you $80. This company sells junk and doesn't stand behind the product. Wish I had read some of the review of the company before buying... they're all pretty bad. And they don't allow for reviews on their own website! NOT recommended for ANY products.
Customer Service is either nonexistent, slow, or they drop the ball almost immediately. Also, some of the items in my order were flimsy and disappointing. I doubt I'll shop there again.

ANOTHER ITEM THAT HAD TO COME SEVERAL DAYS AGO NOW SHOWS DELIVERY IN WEEKS.

Horrible shopping experience, extremely rude customer service rep, 0 internal communications, no apologies, refused to listen, rejected our initial orders without solid reason even after the billing & shipping had been verified through a three-way call with the bank. Don't even waste your time shop with this fraud business.
