Bradley was very quick at answering my initial enquiry, after accepting and signing the order 2 weeks had passed and was told Bradley had given the wrong discount and it was going to be nearly £150PM more so I cancelled. Not a great start, from the very first POC I asked the van to be delivered to a different address "yes no problem we do this all the time etc" was the response. Two days before delivery someone from LCR called to say they were delivering to our registered accountants address 30miles away!! I was obviously disappointed after being told it could go to another business address, instead you insisted it was to be handed over at my HOME address. Icing on the cake maybe it was my mistake for not asking but I bought a new van so expected it to be delivered on a car transporter, not driven down by someone the night before from Liverpool to us 5 hrs away. Van wasn't clean outside and for all I know he could of slept in the back of the new van!! All in all I wouldn't use this company again, I think the staff need further training as to not misled or lie?

Dont bother honestly. Iv had vehicles from these in the past and the service was great. This time round its a complete joke. Paid for 2 vehicles and one of them turned up damaged and im having to go back and forth to get it sorted, paid a deposit on the other one and then apparently after waiting 6 weeks the finance was cancelled, called me to say they was looking for another lender to then say it was going to cost more.

Having to call 3 times a week for updates on delivery date for the van and its the same excuses, oh we’re waiting for the lender, we’re waiting for the dealer, this person is on leave, At this point im 3k out of pocket still desperately waiting for the van after 12 weeks now and i cant even go else where to get the van, so be careful when placing an order as they will promise you the world to get the paperwork sign and after they you will have to chase them

So we have been dealing with LCV now for 3 years, we have roughly 50 odd vehicles from them, i cannot fault them. Any issues i have i ring and it's sorted, be it minor issues. Nevr had issues with funders, or the stock levels. I regularly get calls emails and texts of new deals, and if any cancellations have come through as they know what we want and like. My first contact was Meg, what a service she provides, although on Maternity we was then ahnded to Oliver, also great service. Now we have Dave, he is great, always their, always willing to help. Rebakah on customer support is my guiding light. Always sorts my stuff for me. Molly and Kyle are great for after support. Honestly a real bunch of great people. They even know what funders we like and who we don't.

The only criticism i would have is that the new system they have now, is a bit "out of touch with the customer" it's very computer generated. where as before it was a personal touch, so i always now go direct to the people, and i ahve noted to them so they are always happy to chat.

Can't see me changing now to another provider, i'll stick with these guys.

I’m extremely disappointed in both greenhous and the LCV group. I got my van through the LCV group and was dealing with a gentleman called Owen. I had a quote for the ford custom through a different company but went to Owen who said at the time they would beat any quote. He then can bs L to me and said oh we can’t actually beat it but it was only about £30 difference so I thought I stick with him as I got my last van through them and it was great. This time round it was very different. After confirming the deal I was then passed on to Molly. I got a confirmation date of when the can be delivered and the driver who was delivering it called me the 2 pm the day before saying he will be with me for around 12 the next day. Just before 5pm the same day I got a call saying it’s not going to be delivered as there’s a problem with the funder. Luckily for me I still had my old van to be able to work still. LCV group never said what the actual reason was and didn’t know when it was going to be sorted. I also had to get temporary insurance as I had already changed my insurance to the new van. I had to keep on calling and e-mailing the LCV group to find out what was going on as they they didn’t seem bothered at all and all they kept saying was we’ve sent e-mails and waiting for a reply. I don’t know why they couldn’t just pick up a phone to get answers. After nearly two week I finally got a delivery date and got the van. I asked the LCV group to reimburse my insurance money I had to take out and they only said they would do half what I think is extremely unfair as they was the ones to cancel my delivery leave me in limbo. I finally got the van what came with lots of scratches and an electric folding wing mirror what didn’t work. I informed that the very next day as I didn’t get the van until 6pm in October what was pitch black and you couldn’t seem anything in the dark. I had called and e-mailed LCV group many times to get this sorted what took until December when I got one lot of scratches sorted as the company who came to do it only had one panel when there is 5. I then had to go back to the LCV group and greenhous saying the rest need to be sorted and I have spoke to 3 different people at greenhous tiegan, Samantha and someone else I can’t recall. I received the van 30th of October and it’s now 21st of august and it’s still not been sorted, still not been reimbursed my temporary insurance money and still have loads of scratches on my van. Greenhous also asked me to go get quotes to get the scratches sorted I gave them the quotes from two different companies and they said it was too expensive. I’m not sure what else I can do. I would not recommend using either of these companies as they don’t care about customer service and all they want is your money and hope I stop e-mailing. AVOID THE LCV GROUP AND GREENHOUS.

If you're thinking of dealing with the LCV Group please read this first! We've had a horrific and potentially illegal experience with them, ordered a van and were told we'd passed all the finance checks, they took a £1500 deposit from us and 4 weeks later after loads of paperwork they come back and tell us that we need a directors indemnifier, had we been told this we'd never have placed the order and as such have been miss-sold, would seem straightforward to get our deposit back you'd think...... nope! Discussions with Head of Customer Service, now with Legal and no progress at all. I'm writing this to warn others that LCV Group will say anything to get you to confirm an order, once they have your money you'll never be able to get hold of them and no chance you'll ever get your deposit back even if they've lied to get it. Currently awaiting copies of all emails and call recordings so that I can raise a complaint with the FCA - didn't need to be this hard, just be honest and let customers decide for themselves

I am not one to normally leave reviews but this has to be said.

Avoid The LCV Group! It is NOT how it used to be. The organisation is now a complete car crash.

I have for years dealt with and bought commercial vehicles from The LCV group with no issues, they have now been taken over by another business and the organisation has collapsed.

I was told the transaction would be as normal and nothing has changed. After agreeing to proceed with my order I was then sent an invoice for almost £8,000, this was never the case before and was NOT agreed when proceeding. The first payment was always taken AFTER the vehicle arrived, they now wanted payment up front. Adding salt to the wound, I was also told that since I have ordered the van I have no right to cancel!

I was told that after they received almost £8,000 up front they would deliver the van within DAYS as it was “in stock”. A week after paying I was still without a delivery date, after continuous chasing, I was told “everyone is doing what they can”.

Finally the following week I was given a date of the following Monday for delivery. Putting my frustration aside, I agreed. The Friday before delivery the delivery was CANCELLED! With no next delivery date information available.

Another week goes by with still no van or delivery date! The van was finally delivered 5 weeks after ordering.

Days turned into weeks.

I then had a call from the LCV Group saying that one of my other vans wasn’t taxed ? This is another brand new van I took delivery of in January 2025….they are responsible for taxing the vehicles before delivering them, how can the tax be up 2 months after delivery! They are currently “looking for the documents”. The van has been driven around for over 2 months with no tax! And guess what??? It still isn’t taxed! I have already paid them to tax it…..

I will never recommend or buy another vehicle from The LCV Group. Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere.

To all staff at Low cost vans, I have used you now for around 10 years and have built great relationships with most of the staff. David has been y go to for most items and his service is second to none. he has also looked after some of our other group companies, and i know they are so happy with all aspects of deal and after sales service.
