Toys don’t last

Toys don’t last, great marketing but sub standard products. We have spent over £1000 for our first child and they did not last the second child, the tea set is rusting and customer services won’t event replace it for our daughter…

Thoughtfully designed toys and helpful support

We’ve had a really positive experience with Lovevery. The toys are beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and clearly focused on supporting child development. My child has enjoyed every item so far and the quality is excellent compared to many other toys on the market.

I also had a question for customer support and received a very helpful and friendly response from Gabriel, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great brand and one we’re very happy to recommend to other parents.

Poor/unresponsive customer service. Bought gift code for subscription. Not delivered. Money taken.

#UK-AZO9SUMF5ZSVB

Ordered a gift code as a present for my manager who was going on paternity leave.

Thankfully I had the good sense to use an alternative, personal email as a recipient. It's been an unnecessarily, poor experience, as detailed in the following:

- Lovevery does not offer the opportunity to buy one playbox as a gift. Customers are forced into their subscription model ethos. I already find this questionable company practice because 1) yes, it stops people from bypassing their subscription model and buying a one-off giftbox instead for personal use and 2) subscription models exist to have a constant revenue flow for the business. In the instance that anyone forgets to cancel, that's a hefty £80 per box mistake. Be aware, as their customer service is very non-responsive.

- So still believing in the high-quality product that Lovevery offers, I continued to purchase the gift code late on Aug 11th, for delivery on 12/08/2025.

- Am glad I used my own recipient personal email, as I had never received the code on 12th Aug.

To list the difficulties that I had:
a) My Lovevery online account stated delivery date as 12/08/2025 - am now worried that it thinks delivery is 8th Dec as Lovevery is an American company and not 12th Aug. My purchase was from the UK website, but some website elements were still showing US aspects. It does not show what email I used to send, so I have no idea if I have made a mistake.

Payment was taken from my credit card on Aug 11th.

b) Initial help was via a chatbot - which did not give any useful info. It even mentioned "if you want to check what email or details of the order, check your online account". Chatbot then referred me to a live agent.

c) 12th Aug - automated email to state ticket number given.

d) Live email agent responded on 13th Aug - worryingly to say that they cannot identify my order using either the sender or recipient email addresses. Asked for my order number, which I have given on the 13th.

e) 14th Aug, still no response - I started requesting for a refund, as had lost my confidence in the company.

e) 15th Aug - no response at all - am amazed how poor customer service turnaround is. Note this is a company that charges £80 to £120 per box. It is a premium children's toy company, so better customer service is expected - the company is being let down by this.

I can imagine it being worse if I was on the subscription service and money kept constantly being taken for a service that I no longer wanted.

b) As at 15th Aug, the online account still says "unfulfilled" order status.

They put me on a subscription plan I…

They put me on a subscription plan I didn't agree to and defrauded me of 133 euros, also if you are in Europe you can report them to the authorities in the Netherlands since that is where their european headquarters are based. You can report them to the Dutch Consumer Authority (Autoriteit Consument & Markt - ACM)

Unreliable Delivery & Poor Customer Service – Avoid!

I placed an order for The Adventurer Play Kit (Order #UK-ATQWCMIBUV05C) on 23rd December 2024, with an expected delivery date of 30th December 2024. However, despite multiple follow-ups, Lovevery has failed to deliver the product or provide a concrete update.

After patiently waiting, I first contacted them on 11th January 2025, only to receive an automated response. On 20th January 2025, their customer support team assured me that my order had been flagged for immediate processing, yet weeks later, there has been complete radio silence—no tracking details, no shipment confirmation, and no further communication.

This pattern of taking payments but failing to deliver on time, combined with the lack of accountability, is highly unprofessional. Future buyers, beware—if you’re considering purchasing from Lovevery, be prepared for frustrating delays and poor customer support. I regret trusting this company and strongly urge others to think twice before ordering.

Very poor customer service - lack of communication and dishonesty.

So disappointed to have to write such a poor review, but for such expensive items I expect a good experience as a customer.

We have been Lovevery customers for several years now, and there have been several instances of late boxes/sending and charging for two boxes at the same time etc., but were eventually sorted over a period of a few weeks after sending numerous e-mails.

We decided to purchase the Play Kitchen at the end of November as a Christmas present for our little ones. The delivery time stated 3-5 working days for delivery. Great. Christmas comes and goes with no sign of the Play Kitchen, and only empty promises from Lovevery customer service that they are ‘prioritising’ the despatch.

What annoys me the most about all of this is the lack of transparency. The quality of their items and whole premise behind the toys is great - wholly let down by their customer service. Don’t risk spending your money here!

Poor customer service

Poor customer service!
No updates on when will an order be shipped 2+ weeks after the order.

A playkit designed for each month is pointless if you don't ship it in time, right?

shipped to the wrong address

They ship to the wrong address and say, oh sorry if it’s returned we will send to the correct address? WHAT? How is that my fault? Rubbish. £120 down the drain and i will be cancelling the reminder of the subscription

Products never received

Such a shame to have to do this as I was so excited to receive the products. Nearly 1 month after my order was processed the shipping information says it has been sent back to sender after reaching the UK port but never getting any further. No idea what has happened as customer service doesn’t reply to emails or Instagram messages. It is also not obvious how to cancel the subscription so I am sure I will be charged again soon for the next box before receiving the first one. What a scam. Not worth it. Don’t risk it.

Non existent customer support

I've been impressed with the quality of Lovevery's toys. They are definitely well made and thoughtfully designed. However, their customer support is virtually non-existent. I've been waiting weeks for a response regarding a replacement and it's frustrating. When you encounter a problem you are left in the dark with noone to help you. It’s a shame.

Poor customer service

Products are lovely however they took my payment twice in July, and despite 3 separate emails plus an Instagram message, they haven't been in contact so i am now having to go through a chargeback with my bank which is a long process.
I have now cancelled my subscription with Lovevery.

Lovevery is amazing!

Lovevery is a wonderful company that provides play subscription services or one off gift products that are age appropriate and very well made. As a nanny I always recommend Lovevery! The cards help caregivers to be more knowledgeable about milestones and different ways to engage with the child.

The Lovevery kits are a game changer

The Lovevery kits are a game changer! My toddler doesn’t instigate much independent play but the Lovevery kits have changed this, she absolutely loves them! The sink with the running tap from the helper play kit has provided endless hours of fun, as has most of the items from the Enthusiast Play kit, we have quite the window cleaner now!

Beautiful and well-made

I absolutely love lovevery! We have their playkits and every one so far has honestly been a delight. They are very sturdy and finished to a high standard. I love wooden toys and appreciate that with the kits these will appear on my doorstep without me having to research child development, plan and source appropriate materials. They arrive ready to go, with a quick deck of cards to clue me into what she’s learning and have perfectly matched my daughter where she is every single time.

Amazing!! My kids and I love this company!

I can not recommend this company more. I signed up for the play kits and honestly the quality 5*, the products are simply beautiful. If I was to purchase individual items from Amazon I would not get everything for the same price and I for sure wouldn’t get the quality if that price. Truly wonderful and you can cancel at any time. 5 start from me
