Well organised

The event was very well organised . We did have to queue to get in but fortunately it wasn’t raining . I enjoyed the singing/ worship although it wasn’t my usual style of praising our Lord . We were kept informed how the evening would run . The evening was longer than I expected but you have to allow for technology plus repeats to get everything right .
It was an experience and wonderful to be with so many other Christians

On arrival discovered that the tickets were not real and that one had to queue for the chance to get in. Extremely poor information about different types of tickets allocated for shows, and no info whatsoever on how to have a better chance of getting a seat. It is a shame that people are totally mislead about securing a ticket; also there is a complete lack of empathy from organisers. We wouldn’t have bothered if we’re aware to watch a show we needed to arrive at least 2 hours early. It is a waste of time and money!

QI Recording

We visited television centre for a recording of QI. Staff inside and out were helpful and efficient and show was very funny.

We felt lucky that there were already a queue of people there to follow, I don't know what signage there was, if any.

Great fun evening

This was my second time watching a recording of QI and it was just as much fun, if not more. Really well organised, hilarious to watch and a great evening all round.

the reviews sum it up

I've read the reviews and they pretty much sum up the atrocious queuing system! My partner is refusing to go to another one now as we had priority tickets this time and it made little difference; we got in but waited a long time in the 'pen'

My husband and myself had priority tickets, which was a relief to know we were definitely going to see the show. Everybody was lovely and friendly, Sandi was amazing and so funny and made everyone feel they were special. Cannot wait to come again

Loved having the priority tickets which meant less queuing. However seat were right over on the left hand side (as if viewing the panel) so could only see the back of two of the contestants. Also sound was not good in this area so found some of the speech difficult to hear.

Excellent staff, and show

The LITv staff were all very friendly. I had hurt my back the day before and the noticed my problem walking/standing and immediately found me a seat for the long wait. The only thing I would say is that I felt a fraud then getting a disabled seat, would have been happy to be put in with the rest of the priority crowd. Perhaps you could have seats put into the queue for those unable to stand for over 30mins but are not disabled.
Show was wonderful, and great that you can continue to read on your phone whilst waiting inside now - instead of being screamed at about phones as has happened in other shows. Once again cannot stress again how great the LiTv staff were.

Loved our live QI recording experience

Loved our live QI recording experience! Everyone was super lovely and made the whole thing a real treat.

Gave 4 stars because queuing outside for over an hour (even with priority tickets) was a bit of a downer, especially as we’d been walking/on our feet all day already! The lights were also on full beam on the audience right up until the recording, which seemed unnecessarily uncomfortable.

Thanks to the whole QI staff for looking after us so beautifully 💖

QI is my wife and I’s guilty pleasure

QI is my wife and I’s guilty pleasure. We came to see a show a year ago and this was a second trip for us.
It is such a blast. To sit among the panel guests and the wonderful Sandi is a real treat.
The comedy this time was wonderful and the set up by the team events management is smooth and well orchastrated. Well done to all and thank you.
See you next time.

Wonderful experience

I attended the evening recording of QI on Tuesday 5th March. From start to finish the experience was WONDERFUL. The staff who checked our tickets, bags etc were all very friendly and professional as were the staff who showed us to our seats. The studio was warm and the seats were comfortable. The emails I received in the run up to the day were very helpful and informative. The show itself (the V series) was brilliant - as always. If you have a chance to attend a recording I can thoroughly recommend it.

QI Audience

The QI show and panel itself were amazing and that part of our experience was amazing. It was super cool to see how it’s made, how the camera work etc and was really nice to be a part of but that’s about all the good things I have to say. The entry process is horrendous, they herd hundreds of people into ACTUAL pens at a time in the freezing cold outside without telling you anything ( and just leave you there while they herd in even more), they make a huge song and dance about being on time but overrun at every opportunity themselves and the entry staff were rude as hell. I phoned in advance numerous times because I have a disability and on each occasion was told that my accommodations had been noted and they wouldn’t be a problem, so imagine my surprise ( and general panic!) when we arrive to find not only had they not heard I had called at all but had no plans to help me. Once my partner and I had been shoved in a corner in a holding pen like a herd of cows in the cold for over an hour with no place to sit down ( one of the main things I said I would be unable to do!), we decided it was unsafe for us to stay and tried to leave and the staff manning our cattle pen point blank refused to let us out and kept telling us over and over again that “it won’t be too long now so you might as well stay”…it was a further 35 minutes until we went inside. This was our very first time being part of a TV audience and the entire experience has put me off ever wanting to do this again and, if I’m being totally honest, it’s put a dampener on QI as a whole for us now because whenever I’ve watched it since all I can picture are those moments of being treated like an animal and less than human by the staff at the door which has ruined it for me. I feel really let down by everyone at the BBC and Lost In TV because they both asked us specifically to let them know if we needed any accommodations made due to disabilities, we did that and they didn’t even care, the audiences don’t matter to them at all, we are just the peasants that fill a gap to them.

Had an amazing experience watching the filming of QI. Yes the queuing system is a bit of shambles, but we got priority tickets to ensure entry, however we got there an hour before doors opened, as even the priority tickets are invalid if you turn up late. (check your ticket times). The show was amazing, Sandi was super and made us feel very important. We travelled all the way from Burnley, (Lancs) so may not be doing this too often, but was well worth the trip. Thank you LostinTV.
