Use to be good but not anymore.
I used loot crate in 2017 and it was great but for some reason the company has gone down hill I ordered a bi monthly box the first box due Feb 2022. When emailing all they do is email back a standard message about shipping delays. After continuing to ask for a refund my email went ignored. As soon as I got my credit card provider involved they are now willing to give me a refund.

Has to be either a scam or the worst customer service in history. Ordered the Junji Ito art series, first box ran late fine I get it covid. Second box too, fine chasing up they promised and promised that it would ship end of #insert month of query# then they asked if I wanted a refund yes yes I do. We will escalate your refund is all I've heard since. No crates finally found out I could escelate with my bank they've got me one back but the other two are too long ago very painful lesson learned.
Worst customer experience
Just awful, was charged for months for items that I never received. Requested a refund months ago, still no update. Customer service is just sending template emails. Stay away from them!

Company used to be so good, but has seriously gone down hill, my crate is 5 months late, the last crate in a set of 4 limited edition ones, they keep saying it's COVID, but that's not even an excuse anymore. they were replying to my queries on ETA and order updates really quickly, then when I said I want to cancel and refund they stopped replying, I even started a new ticket and they just completely ignored it, sad to say but Lootcrate has become so bad I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy using them. Avoid at all costs.

I was a big fan of loot crate although i always found their prices a bit high , understandable... but I've requested a create last year near October 2021 its now June 2022 and I still didn't received it... I understand that business had a big impact with covid... What i don't understand, and i might be wrong is that the priority on delivering crates seems to be focused on the new crates rather than the ones that were already order long time ago.
they added a document with estimated delivery dates, but they keep changing all the time...
I did contact support 2 or 3 times, got nothing useful from it... last time i requested my money back, they answered it was ok, i eventually would receive the crate...
So from now on I'm looking for a similar service
Ps. An advice, instead making people having work for your mistakes and checking a Estimated delivery date all the time, maybe you should update them on the situation via email and not create false expectations on delivery dates

Firstly I got a subscription for a year worth of loot teas, sofar this year I've gotten 2 out of 5.
Secondly even worse is that they've added a fuction for paying VAT when you pay, but when they send the packages you still need to pay VAT as they are not sending the packages the correct way. So it ends up as you will have to pay VAT twice, when I contacted them their reply was only "Sorry for the inconvenience. Orders shipping to destinations outside the United States might incur duties and taxes. If duties and taxes are imposed on your order, they are due at time of delivery. Please consult your local customs office for more details about your country's duties and taxes. We are not responsible for any import taxes, duties, or brokerages fees which may be incurred on your international order shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
And thirdly, the price they tag on the packages is so much more than the actual products so you will end up having to pay even more VAT then you should have.
Don't shop with them, you won't get most of your orders and have to pay much more than you think you will.
DON'T DO IT NO MATTER WHAT
I've been dealing with these gold diggers for a good year and a half waiting on my hello Kitty crate that never came. I wrote over 10 different emails each with the same thing. "We will get that out asap we have a shipment going soon!"or"the Corona Virus has affected shipping" which I understand but no year and a half shipping! Something needs to be done for this con artist company!

In January, I sent a ticket after waiting 6 months for a loot fury "Berserk" crate.
Their support team informed me that after it's processed, they can no longer refund and I'll see my crate soon!
It's been a year since the purchase, and I received nothing.
I sent one ticket a second time, and they ignored it.

I've been very understanding about the delays due to supply chain issues(waiting almost a year, and counting, before a single crate was fulfilled) and finally decided to contact customer support since they continued incrementing the number of crates fulfilled without actually fulfilling them. After about a month of back and forth, with at least a week between responses from Loot Crate, I've given up on actually getting any sort of issue resolved. They ignore my question about whether I'd be charged again for another subscription before I've received a single crate, and keep pushing me to check their page about COVID delays. Subscription cancelled, and I'm never coming back.

awful. never received crates. asked subscription to be cancelled so they didn’t take anymore money from me and to be refunded. they cancelled it right away but i haven’t received my refund of over £100. i have been emailing them for 7 months and can’t contact them. i never get an answer back. i’ve just about given up

I subscribed to Loot Fright a year ago, with the special add-ons. I haven't received a single special add on, and I've only gotten three of the crates. I've actually moved, but they don't let you change your shipping address - fortunately my friends still live at my old place to get them for me.
When my subscription ended they automatic renewed it without my consent and charged me over £300. It's been over a month of hounding them, even with a confirmation of my refund request being raised, and I still haven't gotten my money back.
Don't waste your money. They might be the big name on the market but there are much better, cheaper boxes.

3 crates paid for during a subscription 9 months ago and told they would be delayed. I moved house a couple months after they informed me of the delay and I contacted customer service who assured me they would be sent to my new address which they confirmed in an email.
Half a year later and I get an email telling me that 1 of the crates has been shipped, to my old address I have no access to.
They are offering no help or compensation for their own mistake.
Replys to customer service emails are taking 3 weeks!
Avoid them at all costs. At this point I am convinced they have just stolen my money.

Bought a Wizarding World crate and WW welcome crate in September. Wizarding World welcome crate was full of Horror items, not Harry Potter. The main crate never arrived. Ignoring emails and messages. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered in July 2020 for the Junji Ito series crates. 1st crate was to be delivered in October, 2nd in December, 3rd in February.
5 months after the initial 1st crate was due to be dispatched I am still waiting. I have received one email from lootcrate assuring me the crates would be posted in December 2020 (although the email was sent in January 2021 so unless they have a time machine that would be impossible.)
Since then no emails from loot crate, they have updated the shipping info on their website, but this has always been late, throughout most of April it stated the 3 crates I am waiting on would be posted in March, it all feels so tremendously disorganised.
I wrote to lootcrate asking for a refund and to cancel my subscription, its almost been 6 months I've been waiting for my crates and they haven't even been shipped yet. It taken about 4 days for loot crate to reply to my request for a refund to be told they have escalated my issue, unsure why their normal support team can't refund.
