Just soil no tubers

I received a bag of hollyhock roots for Mother’s Day. It should have contained 6 yellow and 6 pink roots but the yellow bag was just peat and there were 4 pink one but two were mushy. My daughter in law also had a bag and she managed to use 6 out of the 12. Contacted company and they said they would send replacement but then decided they would post to uk. Nothing else offered. I realise they don’t post orders to UK but could have sent one bag of bulbs. Will never buy from company again and have spoken to local garden centre .
