Went sailing in the Solent in a chartered boat and had the most amazing time. Clocked up about 90 sea miles in pretty good conditions and although there was a bit of chop I never felt at risk once. The leadership of the yacht was high quality, navigation and weather preparation were excellent. We were all encouraged to take part in sailing and helming the boat. A truly memorable few days. Route was Hamble, Poole, Cowes, Hamble over two days and three nights.
Wind, water and great company
Living outside the area, I was unaware of the existence of LSC until I saw a post on a crew-finder Facebook site just before Christmas. I joined an LSC skipper (Doric) on a trip over New Years and had a whale of a time. The boat, skipper and crew were great, as was the sailing. I would not hesitate to recommend LSC and am looking forward to my next trip.
