Had hospital appointment on Sunday 23April.Booked outward journey online and was charged £11.50 but could not book return as did not know how long appointment would be.Phoned to arrange return from hospital but was charged £14.00.I was told it was because it is cheaper to book online as may have special offers which is a total lie.Should not have been charged anymore and as a 88 year old pensioner with mobility issues will not be using again.

Late pick up at Stansted with children
We book a ride between Stansted to London city center tower Bridge (at 2350 pick up time) for 2 adults and 2 children with 2 luggages. For an estate car type, the car was a Toyota prius plus.
The drive was fine and we came after appr an hour after as expected. We had a nice conversation during the trip with the driver.
However, we did not like the fact that the driver did not come at 23:50 as expected at the airport (came with almost 30 min delay)
Especially that we had paid extra for being picked up at the cafe next the arrivals inside the airport.
We had to meet outside and find the car.

Mohamed was probably the best minicab driver I ever have had take me from Heathrow to my home. He was on time, offered to help with my luggage, offered me water, and seemed really invested in me having a good experience.

Unhapy Pickup Experience
I selected pickup at gate to help my wife from the airport off a red eye flight, and called the evening before to confirm. I was advised that gate pickup wasn't actually on offer, and that the driver would call and text to confirm a location. I advised that my wife would be able to receive whatsapp (WA)only, and the phone operator confirmed that would be the means of communication. Instead, the driver on the morning called not using WA hence couldn't get through. When he finally got through on WA, he was more interested in berating my wife for not picking up, than for apologising for his error and working out a pickup. He therefore advised her to drag bags etc to a parking level at the airport that didn't exist, necessitating her having to return to wifi signal at departures again in order to find out where to find him. Therefore arrived at home sleep-deprived, upset and shaken by the experience.
18 Mar: Offer on 14 March of compensation would be gratefully received. No sign of anything yet though!

Fuss free transit from Heathrow airport
Upon arrival at Heathrow, we were given clear instruction where to meet and the waiting time for driver to pick us. Driver was accomodative and patient and helped us with our bags.
It's pricier compared to taking tube or bus but definitely a good option if you have a number of bags like us (spare you the trouble of having to lug the bags in stations).

Despite my saying while booking that the passenger had learning difficulties and was a bit slow, the driver would not wait for him for more than a few minutes and drove off. Another car was sent, the driver of which was also very impatient and bad tempered. Will not use again

Nice service. Got the call in morning of the booking day. Driver arrived on time and waited for almost 5 min very passionately.
Just one suggestion: It will be better if drive call us at least 30 min before arriving. Will be better to be prepared on time
