Kindness to customers
I am very impressed with this company's kindness to the customers. Staff members are always patient and helpful.
The return policy is very lenient to the customers. I bought a watch, and the kind staff members gave me a full refund after 17 days of the purchase. I don't think too many stores would do this.
London Drugs helped to make our Reunion a success !
Can't say enough good things about the support Dustin Sauter gave us as we organized our 50 year High School Reunion. Dustin connected us with one of the LD store staff (Niaz Ahmed ) to take photographs for out Reunion. Niaz did extremely professional work and we are all very happy with the candid group photos. I highly recommend Niaz !

Avoid the tech services at this…
Avoid the tech services at this location.
I brought in a broken iPhone (damaged in a construction accident), and instead of getting help, I was met with unprofessional behavior and open disrespect.
Multiple employees gathered around, repeated the same questions, and openly laughed about my situation. Having your issue turned into a spectacle in front of an entire team is embarrassing and unacceptable. I was already frustrated—being mocked by staff made it worse.
To be clear, I’m not upset that they couldn’t fix the phone—I had it replaced at the Apple Store within the hour. The problem was the experience itself. As a paying customer, being treated this way was completely out of line.
I will be warning friends, family, and coworkers about this location, and I hope others read this and steer clear of the same treatment.
Photo Scam Instead of Scan!
I went to London Drugs in Cloverdale to have my photos scanned. They offer a box in which you can put up to 800 photos to be scanned for $179.99 and they put your photos on a USB stick. It sounded like a fair deal even though I had just under 200 photos to scan. I had been told it would take up to 24 hours which I was fine with. However, after 48 hours, they still weren't done so I had to come back again the next day. I was okay with that as I know things can get busy.
Today I began uploading the photos from the USB to a website in which I was creating a montage of photos for our son's wedding. Unfortunately, they missed scanning 3 photos so I had to go back. The rep at the counter said the person in charge of scanning was on her lunch break and it would be an hour before she was back. He said she would call me about it when she returned from lunch. I certainly understand that people need a lunch break. I waited for 2 hours before returning to the photo lab as I had not received a call. The same rep was there and he went to the back to check on the progress of my photos. He returned and told me she was working on it and it would be done in 5 minutes. Then he left for his break. I waited for 20 minutes at which point I was very frustrated and went to the Customer Service Desk. It took another 5 minutes to talk to the person at the CS Desk and then wait to speak to a manager. The manager then went to the back and came back with my box and said, "Sorry for the inconvenience." That's it, even after all I went through. I would have thought they could at least offer a partial refund for all the extra time it took me to get 3 photos scanned that should have been scanned to begin with. I will not be returning to the Cloverdale London Drugs photo lab again and I do not recommend them.
Don’t ever bring stuff from another store not even generic they’ll say you stole it! Even with a receipt!
Don’t walk in with any items from another store ever because these security guards will say you stole it when it’s not even their stupid brand! I had stuff from shoppers and save on foods! This was at the broadway city hall store! And this goes for any store because they will continue to insist even though you tell them you don’t sell this brand! If London drugs sells life brand and western family generic then I’m sure that both Jim pattison food group and Loblaws are gonna want to have some words with you guys! Man I’d love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting! This is why I don’t shop in Your stores and I’ll keep trolling them until they learn. Yeah I set them up and boy did they fail miserably! And same damn thing at Granville & Georgia even after I pointed out on the box it’s from another store! Because lady if you can make these tills read the barcodes then you’ve got a higher iq than Albert Einstein. Mindless automatons who basically think they’re the only store on the planet! Pretty sure that’s a huge no-no selling your competitors products.
Very rude staff Victoria Drive location
Been going to London Drugs for around 30 years at the Victoria Drive location. For the last 4 years I noticed the staff are very rude, give you dirty looks, follow you around, confront you as soon as you come through the door and ask you if you need any help with a rotten look on their faces. (implying you are a thief) never stolen anything in my life. Will no longer shop there.
bought an item from their website and…
bought an item from their website and extra to get the free shipment
got a confirmation of items shipped and a tracking number
Next day i get an email saying 1 item not in stock which was the item we really wanted
No option to cancel because as you guessed it it says shipped already and the CSR simply sent a message when contacted oh it shipped minus that item
Surely if an item is not in stock you need to inform the customer before marking it shipped so we know if we wish to cancel whole order or not
Check Your Bill!
Be sure to check your bill, they often forget to charge the sale price and charge the regular retail for items that are on special. This has happened to me numerous times.
London Drugs spits in the face of its former employees
I worked for several months at London Drugs while in college more than 18 years ago. I found out my personal information including my social insurance number was compromised in the hacking incident. I emailed and question London Drugs HR why they would keep my information all these years when it is clearly no longer necessary from a tax record-keeping stand point. London Drugs HR has decided to ignore me. Shameful and Pathetic!!
Purchase did not arrive
Purchase did not arrive. Courier did not use the courier lockers. LD would not resend purchase. And it was only $20. Just sad customer service
Terrible place
Terrible place. I bought a set of headphones for my apple iphone, it did not work and i was not allowed to retuen it that very same day. I bought another pair that they highly reccomended and after one day it did not work anymore so i spent $60 for nothing. I really don't recommend this place.
False advertisemnet and Worst customer service
Do not rely on what you see on London Drugs website. They're lying.
I recently purchased a headphone online on London Drugs website, and there was an option to pickup at the nearest store, advertising that the package will be ready for pickup in 30 minutes or less. So I chose to pick up since I wanted to have the product asap.
After a few hours, I still didn't get any email for the pickup. So I contacted the customer service though email, and they told me that I have to contact the store myself and figure it out.
When I told that this is London Drugs' problem and not me and it'soutrageous, they just told me that they consider my feedback in the future.
No apology received. Not a single "sorry". Also, they didn't help at all. I went to the store, and they started packing my order after I complained at the store.
So they lied to me about it, and not only didn't the customer service apologize, but they also didn't help me at all.
This is how we, as Canadian, are being treated by these big companies.
I'm Boycotting London Drugs.
This is not acceptable.
Hope people read this so they won't experience the same thing.

i was buying my son a toy i took it out of the box it did not work at all i would not recommend this place for gifts it is so expensive!
Customer Service Is Alive and Well Here..
I called the customer service line to inquire about the availability of a product. The individual I spoke with was very helpful; patched me through to the store that appeared to still have one item left in stock. Front desk person named Gabriel at the Quadra store was very helpful to the point she put me on hold (with my permission) while she physically went to confirm the item was still on the shelf. She confirmed and then offered to place it on hold at the customer service desk for me. What more can you ask for as a customer? There are 4 locations in Victoria. This was not the closest to us, but I still drove 20 min knowing what I wanted was waiting for me thanks to Gabriel. So a big shout out to her and the Customer Service person that helped out.
I ordered an item online
I ordered an item online. Went to pick it up 2 days later and it took over 15 minutes for them to find it.
Great service from Leanne.
Great service from Leanne.
She helped me with some makeup.
She was cheerful when I approached her.
She showed what would suit my skin
Thank you Leanne.
Amazing job Hiring this guy named Jil…
Amazing job Hiring this guy named Jil at the Tech department of London Drugs down here in Kamloops. I am a frequent shopper at L.D in Kelowna but i made a short visit to find a couple items while I was in kamloops and he was helpful. Fantastic kid! Will shop at this store location in Kamloops tech department pretty frequently from now on!!
Petty ante nonsense
Not sure why, but it seems that the randsomeware attack was the demarcation point for a London Drugs that now provides poor customer service. At the time of the randsomeware attack I realized how much I relied on London Drugs. Now I don't want to deal with them at all. The 30-Day Price Match Guarantee has become a hassle. New staff don't understand the wording and provide their own interpretation. Can't be bothered with the petty ante nonsense that characterizes the new London Drugs.
Best employee I have encountered
Recently went to London Drugs Cambie to the Computer Service Centre. How lucky you are to have a wonderful, helpful, friendly employee like Sergio. His knowledge, care and attention was outstanding. Certainly the best I have had in a very long time!
