Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Good service and good product and the price was the best I found
I called and asked how long the cake would take to be delivered to selfridges in london and they said it would come the next day…. So I picked it up in the evening the day after my order …. Usually they quote 2 days after order … so that was efficient.
The colour inside was great … I did the cake for my nieces and nephews and they really liked it. I also picked up a dairy free vegan cupcake for my youngest niece as she can’t have any dairy…. She is 2 and a half and She absolutely loved it and ate it all !

Not my favourite cakes
Service was a little on the slow side. I wish there were more cakes with fruit inside or the use of mascarpone cheese as I find the cheese in the cake cake very heavy and stodgy. For me there's too much cheese on top and that overrides the sponge. There wasn't any black forest available, im not sure if its available any more. My personal preference is for cream and fruit.

It is my favourite of Lola's cakes!
Apart from the great taste I feel the actual finished cake could look a little more special! The only thing that I feel needs more attention!
The ladies in Selfridges are absolutely lovely and were so very helpful!

Lovely cakes
Lovely cakes. Tried the mini-vegan cupcakes and non-vegan chocolate raspberry bday cake. Added a photo to the bday cake and it looked very cute. All yummy.

Just make sure to keep the mini- cupcakes box very straight as they can move around with slight movements of the box.
