Seamless renting at a cheaper price.
The whole experience with locauto was seamless. We were skeptical about this rental, especially since they are not a usual/ popular name. But everything went well. Of course, it was not our first time renting a car so we were prepared with all the necessary documents and cards that they need. We got exactly what we expected. Happy with the experience.

I rented a car for one day from Roma Prati branch. The man who delivered the car said that I could return it to Termini branch and that there is no one way fee. The next day I returned the car to Termini branch. When I was returning the car, I asked again if there is a one way fee. The woman who picked up the car also said that there is no one way fee. The distance between the two branches is 5.9 km, that is 10 minutes. Contrary to what I was told, they charged 73.20 Eur one way fee from my credit card. I do not recommend this unreliable company to anyone.

Pretty easy pick up and return.
However, the clerks in Rome via Carso did not bother to check the state of the car before handing it out to me (they actually just pointed to the car on the street). The car was incredibly dirty as well.

Car was good and return process was easy.. my BIG negative observation was the misleading while negotiating the price and insurance coverage. The gentleman calculated and agreed with me to pay 200€ per day inclusive of all taxes and insurances but he charged me much more! Ended up with around 280€ per day! I have trusted the Company representative and paid without looking to the price tag until next day

It would be 5 stars if the communication (confirmation mail and details about the reservation) was also in English,not only in Italian .

The gentlemen at the counter of the rental were rude and didn't care that they'd given our car away. They were happy to charge us more than the booking because we were delayed by 1 hour due to our flights being delayed. I explained the situation but they clearly didn't care. The car we finally got, and paid more than $100€ more for, was great. I cannot recommend ever renting from these rude men. I'll write a public review saying the same and recommending people rent from another location.

Beware! This company is fraud. We rented car from them. Absolutely no inspection was done on car and nobody showed us any paperwork with pre-existing damage. Car keys were handed to us and when we went to return the car we were told that we damaged the car. We know the car was not damaged by us but now they want us to pay them $700 for a damage that we didn't do. They don't respond back to your complaints. They will keep on pushing you to pay them.
