Car not clean inside. No one there on return to check car. Keys taken at main car rental centre told no need to wait. Later got email to say new damage found without evidence provided and damage charge. There was new damage when car left in car park. Scam.

Staff was very amicable and have precise directions on how to proceed. The car return was also easy to find and you can leave the keys if there's no employees at the return site.

It was very easy to pick up and return the car. Very efficient and thrustworthy. Can recommend!

It was practical to get things sorted, and my car was reserved even though my flight was delayed.
However, I would advise that you check your car for safety. The car was continuously showing to service the tires and you could feel it. I was a bit scared but didn't have the time to complain. At the end all went well. I would still hire next time from them.

While the car I got as ok (not the one I booked, bur similar) I was charged an extra day because they put the pick up time at 12 noon even though my car was ready at 12;50.
I then returned it at 1pm one week later, so basically for 10 extra minutes i got charged an extra 117 EUR.
I was not notified prior to this when I dropped it off, they said all was good l, no extra costs, but later saw a transaction for this. What can I say, lesson learned.

While booking the car, I did select a specific category (stationwagon) but I received car from another category (compact)

Friendly, no hidden costs, no hassle pick up and deop off.

Ciampino airport:

The Locauto representative initially tried to charge me for an upgrade which I didn't want.

When I refused, they admitted they didn't have the category of car I had reserved and offered me the upgrade free of charge.

I expect this from a dodgy company, not a well known rental firm.

They were also negligent in not checking the car was free of hazardous substances before handover, but then refused to admit this.

I have been a loyal customer for a number of years, but this experience has revealed them to be a company that is happy to both extort the customer and avoid any responsibility for serious negligence.

They have been given the opportunity to investigate these issues and put this right, but have refused to do so.

I am surprised and disappointed.

Quick & straightforward process even though it was later in the evening at Ciampino airport. Desk attendant spoke clear English & didnt over complicate. I was very impressed as I’ve used other companies in that airport before but this was easily the best experience. 10/10 will recommend them and will use again myself.

Walking distance from airport. Waited minutes for our car to arrive. Outside of car could have done with a wash before handed to us but apart from that all went smoothly

Worst experience ever… horrible cars and hidden fees after taking full insurance coverage…

Excellent value and customer service

Hired in Ciampino Airport (9seater van). All perfectly prepared inside and outside, friendly staff and easy process. Returned with no problem, very close to airport. Fully recommend!

Quick pickup and return. Car was in a good condition. Full insurance was quite expensive and we decided not to get it.
