Very smooth and professional experience with Locauto in Bari 🙂
The pickup process was fast and clear, the car was in very good condition and the return at the airport was easy and stress-free — which is honestly one of the most important things when travelling with family and children.
As I’m comfortable driving manual transmission cars, the team provided us a brand new fully equipped Opel Corsa, which made the whole Puglia road trip even more enjoyable 😊🚗
No hidden surprises, good organization and overall a very relaxed rental experience.
Would definitely use Locauto again in Italy 🇮🇹

A few problems, but a good car rental company
The car was not very clean and did not have any windshield washer fluid. Other than this, the car worked fine and the people at the office were very friendly and efficient.

On arrival the team were friendly, helpful, quick and gave me an upgraded car. I asked for a manual but was given an auto which was my only issue. Other than that the car was great, clean and no issues either checking in or dropping off.

I picked up the car from the Locauto…
I picked up the car from the Locauto office near Bari Central Station. The office was easy to find, the staff was friendly and professional, and thanks to the online Smart Check-in, the whole document process was very fast and convenient.
The car itself was excellent and clean. However, later in the evening I noticed that one of the headlights was not working. I believe this is something the company should check before handing over the vehicle to customers.
Returning the car was also very convenient. I appreciated the 24/7 return option... you simply leave the car in the designated parking area and drop the keys into the metal box near the office. Very practical for early or late returns.
One thing that could be explained better is the parking procedure when returning the car. Nobody informed me that I needed to take a ticket from the machine when entering the private parking area. There is also another unguarded parking lot nearby, so I lost some time trying to understand where exactly I should park.
Despite these small issues, everything worked out fine and overall I had a positive experience with Locauto in Bari.
