local Classified advert site ... sent messages through the site to many advertisers - the blue check marks indicate the message has been delivered and read - but not one reply!! - from dozens of messages. Are the blue checks genuine? or just generated by the locanto system?!? Or perhaps the advertiser is now not actually able to respond?!.. unknown. ...it used to work fine a few months ago. If the free messaging part has been deliberately disabled - then the site owners are foolish beyond words. A classified ad website that does not allow contact between advertiser and customer - is a pointless waste of time. Advertisers will realise this VERY QUICKLY ... and go elsewhere. And that will be the end of Locanto.

clearly they playing games with people , removing or blocking free ads to force the to pay , i haven't paid one so cant confirm if they doing the same with paying customers , but wouldn't be surprised , if u have add with them check on friends phone without login if your add is listed at all

was ok when I first joined. I now send messages and no one is getting these messages which is really annoying so will have to delete my account and go elsewhere. I have tried contacting their customer service department but as usual they do not respond to any queries. I wonder what they get paid for?
Waste of time joining as no support if something does go wrong and it usually does.

I would beg to differ here. I deeply apologize for the poor experiences you guys have had with Locanto but I can absolutely assure you there are genuine advertisers out there, myself being one of them. I use only real photos but as I have my freckles airbrushed out to protect my identity, people often don't believe they're real. I'm asked for selfies all the time which I would NEVER do because I'm not good with computers and am nervous about sending potentially dangerous metadata to strangers.

I work for myself and converse with clients a lot before accepting a booking so that we are on the same page. My advise to you all would be to USE YOUR WORDS, ask for everything you want in your session before you book and gage the responses you receive. If someone is a genuine, independent worker they will reply to you respectfully with all you need to know. If they're being pimped or trafficked, you can tell by the communication. Do not ever pay in advance unless you already know the girl and even then be careful, you're playing with fire until you're securely inside and stripped down together. If no prior payment is taken, there is no obligation to stay if the masseuse or SW isn't who they claim to be.

Use your own discretion with Locanto for sure but don't write it off altogether. I have tried many other platforms for advertising my massage and Locanto remains the best so far

Locanto nothing but scammers and prostitutes.
Messed around with it for over a year and never any genuine ladies.
Funny, most of the scammers seem to be using stolen pictures and when you statt asking specific questions about the town they are supposedly in, they will panic and send an address. However, they can't give you any landmarks or tell you if that side of town is the Northside for instance, as it's locally known.
Just to mess with them. I ask for a selfie of them touching their chin or nose with their index finger and you can guess how many pics i received of that!
Locanto knows this is the case and is complicit with the activities.

Deceptive site. Is a scam,I tried posting a free personals message, it shows posted under my locanto account, but is ghosted. If I try to see the message in a different browser, is not there. I think the existing ads are bogus , the personals section. I even paid , and is still ghosted. They charged my card , but the post is still ghosted. Total scam and waste of time. These people should be investigated by Interpol and the German Police

So I tried the dating app. Get a message from the girl. Things escalate through text and sending pics back-and-forth. I’m on my way to go meet her and she asked me to stop to get a gift card for her kids for $75. I’m not mad that she was a prostitute and didn’t tell me that right away I’m just mad she didn’t except cash. But seriously that’s happened twice now. They message me get me worked up then say they just need a favor. Stop and get a gift card.

This website is just full of scam merchants & locanto want you to pay for prime membership, No one reply's to messages EVER, I am surprised that locanto put this on trustpilot, Their is no way you could ever trust locanto.com it one BIG SCAM, All good review are FAKED by locanto them self, Just like their ROUGE website.

This site lacks oversite, has lots of technical issues and is too basic in function to be useful. Definitely not worth the money for being a paid member. As a free site, well, it's free so don't expect much...just keeping it real

Locanto is one of the only free to post without any catches. The premium memberships are very affordable and ensure your ads are prominantly displayed.
The only issue I have had with Locanto is tje lack of moderation in the personals. There is major phishing and misleading professional websites posing as individjal advertisers looming for love..this must be adressed before locanto will be a premium classified site...

Locanto is a profiteer of human trafficking and scammers. They will ignore illegal activities of those who pay for a Premium account. I've reported multiple scammers and those selling underage girls. They have never once removed any of the adds because those adds belong to Premium account holders.
