I found this company online and I…local repair appliance inc

I found this company online and I regret not doing more research on the company before I hired them to come out and fix my stove.
The technician came out and determined that my glow starter on my gas range was faulty. It cost me 560.84 to change this part. they told me that the part costs 250.00 + tax A part that actually costs only 60.00, the mark up is astronomical.
Changing that part didn't fix the problem.
They came back and changed the thermostat for free, they were being nice trying to make things right.
This did't fix the problem either. I had them come back again and this time he said that the mother board is faulty. To repair that was over 600.00.
When I asked why they changed the glow starter, they said it was worn and weak ready to fail. Which means it still worked. I actually took it to an electrician and got it checked to see if the readings are proper and they were spot on, not weak at all.
The technician gave me 2 options in the end. 1. they change the motherboard for the 600.00 or 2. they give me my money back for the glow starter of 250.00 + HST and they are done with me.
Since they couldn't fix my stove and just changed items for their troubleshooting I decided that my best option was to get my money back for the part. Even though they should have refunded me in whole, I thought at least I get something back.
I would of repaired the motherboard if I was certain that it would fix the problem but with no guarantee from them to know for sure, I didn't want to lose another 600.00 for them to trouble shoot my oven.

The call service they use are horrible and definitely lie when you call them about what the status is on my service. Twice they told me that the technician responded about my file while I was on the phone with them. This was after a week of no communications from them and I called for an update. this happened multiple times so it leads me to believe that they are not true to their word.
Even this rating was hard to do, I'm not sure even if anyone will see this or the company for that matter. Either way, they are not a reputable company and do not fix the issues with your appliances. be careful they have no presence on the web either. No way to give a testimonial on their website they put up their own.

Horrible business and horrible service.

Thank you

George
