From the initial contact through closing, all the Loan Depot people were excellent. Always polite, efficient, professional, and friendly. Process was quick and everything was just as promised. Highly recommend!!

LoanDepot and our loan agent Karlo were exceptional. Karlo helped us with a quick turnaround on both pre-approval and closing and helped us understand our options for financing, including exploring different terms and down payment amounts. This required strong communication and responsiveness often outside of normal business hours. The online portals have been very easy to use for the loan application and for servicing. Most importantly, the rates were competitive. We are already repeat customers of LoanDepot, and we would return again in the future!

The Loan Depot rep listened to our goals and presented a package that met those goals well.
The process of loading documentation on the portal was easy.

Cannot link my ñew loan. Everytime I try, the website hangs up. DISGUSTING!

This company is not trust worthy. I warn future clients to be wary of false statements by agents.

Charged my credit card for an appraisal deposit. When I opted out of their loan , no appraisal was done…& they kept the deposit, refusing to refund it! Good company to stay away from!

Worst experience that I ever had. The laan officer out of California was awful ... deceitful....wouldn't take no for an answer. Kept my appraisal fees. The appraisal was never performed. Won't return any of my money that she out in my credit card. Tried to get me to sign the loan without my wife's approval

I was referred to Loan Depot by a coworker I applied for a refinance online the representative was great everything was going perfect they pulled my credit I paid and had an appraisal done on my home a week away from closing I was denied with no phone call or warning I saw the denial when I logged into my application I called to ask why The representative explain my current mortgage holder had a Lein I called my mortgage holder anyways I had to do a lot of back and forth Loan depot would not talk to them directly to clear up my situation after a few attempts no one would get back to me or respond I called a supervisor and he assured me someone would get back to still nothing miscommunication and no communication I was left very disappointed and fustrated all they had to do and talk to

Even though the process is convoluted, as usual, the people I worked with were absolutely exceptional in every way which made the process tolerable. Highly recommend.

The representative that I dealt with, Lucas, was fantastic. He answered any questions I had.He got back in touch with quickly, and he explained everything to me plus he was very personable

We have been planning to refinance our house for a while. We checked multiple vendors and loanDepot accomodated us the best way that fits our situation. We would definitely recommend them!

Loan Depot has been awesome to work with when my husband, who had worked 2 Full Time jobs for 17 years
(I had worked 39 years as an RN till injury forced me onto disability) suddenly became ill and was hospitalized the first 7 months of 2025. We had only my disability check coming in for income during this time which wasn’t enough to pay our mortgage (we had had for 23 years) and all our other bills. Following discharge he was unable to even move his own legs in the bed and totally unable to walk. I applied for his disability and it was approved in under 1 month due to the exigent circumstances we were in, thankfully. But 1 disability does not equal 2 full time checks as an RN which he was. So I contacted Loan Depot early in his hospitalization and they immediately suggested a forbearance for 3 months. All I had to do was explain the circumstances to them. They continued extending the forbearance for a year and now they have offered a modification of a loan! They have been truly wonderful to work with! Always expressing concern for him and a desire to help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Loan Depot!

Roxanne and the team at LoanDepot were excellent in helping us navigate buying our first home. She was very willing and open to answering questions and was always prompt with responses. Taking our loan through LoanDepot was an overall great experience for a process that many dread going through.

Representative was very argumentative when I was trying to convey to him what my goals were for the home equity loan. What topped it off, he ran a hard credit report without my consent. I was just trying to get a preliminary quote on interest rates and the amount of equity I could qualify to borrow.

I had the opportunity to work with Marshall and Desiree with Loan Depot on a project for a 3rd party homeowner. I was very skeptical on how this would turn out from the start. I must say, Loan Depot exceeded my expectations in all areas, from the initial communications to the payment and follow-up.
I recommend Loan Depot for anyone wanting to work with a loan company as that delivered.
