Please note: This repair service is for our 1880 Export Grade models only. Once your order is confirmed, if you could complete and return the shoes as directed in the form situated above, that would get the process started. On arrival, the shoes are inspected and placed on the original lasts. Our skilled factory staff rebuild the shoes using new long soles and heels, to the current factory specification. The uppers are refinished as best possible including finger polishing to the toes, and new laces are included. Although there are normally no issues in repairing Loake shoes, we cannot tell for certain if a repair can be made until the shoes have been examined. Please note that we will not be able to repair footwear not originally produced by Loake, nor can we repair shoes that have previously been repaired by a third party. **Please Note** we will NOT be able to return shoes in their original boxes (new boxes will be supplied), and we also cannot guarantee return of any shoe trees, shoe bags, or additional insoles etc. included with your shoes when sent to us. Please can you also remember that when you send your shoes back in for repair, they will be closely examined, by hand, by our repair team. If you could please remove dirt with a damp cloth before sending them in, that would be appreciated. Shoes that are excessively muddy and/or unpleasant to handle will be returned to you without being processed. We cannot be held responsible for the safe packaging and arrival of your shoes, so we recommend protecting your shoes in a box before sending in for your repair. Some types of shoes such as boat shoes cannot be repaired; if in doubt please contact Loake to confirm.
