I've only been lucky enough to have a few private chef experiences, which is why I can confidently say that not all are created equal.
There is the obvious focus on the food, but you can get great food at countless restaurants. You also need to consider the dinner-planning experience, and more importantly the vibe of the chef that will be front in center at your private event or home.
Ryan checks all the boxes. His food was absolutely amazing, which I'll dig into shortly. I want to start first with how responsive and collaborative he was. We'd originally planned on a French dining experience, but had to shift a couple weeks later to Polynesian.
