I booked a trip to the Galapagos ten…

I booked a trip to the Galapagos ten months in advance. When I came to pay the balance I was told all lower deck cabins were taken and I would have to pay more for an upper desk one, as I had my booking in writing I complained and finally I didn't have to pay extra. It was very annoying having to talk to several people rather than have one person dealing with the booking. I had to send duplicate copies of some paperwork as it was "mislaid". Won't be using this company again.

Thank you for your review, although I'm sorry your booking experience was not as you expected. We have rightfully covered the cost of the cabin upgrade, as this was our mistake, which we apologised for as well.
The reason you may have spoken to different agents, is because we are able to provide 24/7, round the clock support to our guests. We have agents in different timezones, however rest assured, everyone is aware of your booking history, and able to answer your queries.

I couldn't find anything to say that the paperwork was mislaid. It was the only information that we didn't receive initially.

We hope that you will consider us for your next liveaboard, and that you had a wonderful time in the Galapagos.

Dive trip to Tubbataha

I recently booked a dive trip with Liveaboard, and, following the advice, chose an outstanding boat and crew. They were incredibly helpful with making the arrangements and being sure that all paperwork was completed on time. Liveaboard’s help lead immeasurably to a successful trip without any snags!

Do NOT book via this website

Do NOT book via this website. I lived in Egypt and booked a trip for 4 people on a liveaboard in the Red Sea. The other 3 divers traveled from the US and were able to go on the trip, but I got covid right beforehand and was not able to attend. Their customer service is an absolute joke. You will never speak to the same person twice, and none of their reps know what they are doing. I was offered a credit to liveaboard.com and when I replied saying I would accept that, they told me that actually it’s not possible and I could only use the credit to go with the original operator. Why would you offer something and then not actually give it to a customer? I no longer live in Egypt and they are completely unwilling to make good on their offer for the liveaboard.com credit. They have a nice UI but you do not get ANY benefit booking through them. You should use their search function to find an operator and then book directly through that company’s website instead.

As the booking terms and your booking is with the Snefro company, then they are the ones who offered the opportunity to reschedule, and the credit. I'm afraid that we cannot change that, as your agreement is with the boat. The terms of booking were on the booking voucher when you booked.

I appreciate that your living situation has changed, however after we attempted many times on your behalf to get this amended, unfortunately it was not possible.

Palau Siren

Nice boat with a max. of 16 divers. We were 14 in 3 groups. Spacious cabins, excellent food. Very friendly and attentive crew. Some dive sites visited several times during the 10 day trip, but always nice dives.

Great experience

I've been on several liveaboard safaris and have logged hundreds of dives, but this was my first trip to the Maldives.
In terms of value for money, this was by far the best trip I've ever been on.

Boat,cabin: Absolutely fine for the price – air-conditioned and clean. Comfortable places to rest! Dhoni was also very very spacios with sundeck.

Crew: Exceptionally friendly, approachable, helpful in every way, funny, and professional.

Food: Snacks were available throughout the day, unlimited drinking water, breakfast was buffet-style and also had made-to-order options for breakfast eggs. Lunch and dinner were served buffet-style. Drinks were available for a reasonable price (wine, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, etc.). I will truly miss this part – nowhere else I've been has offered such delicious food. Everything was fresh, a mix of local and international dishes – I absolutely loved it! Special thanks to the guys at the bar and for the chef for sharing some of the recipes!

Tour guide and dive guides: Professional, patient, quick to assess the current conditions and adapt as needed. Incredible attitude – they really made the most out of every dive site. Our manta dive and shark feeding experiences were absolutely breathtaking! Special thanks to Shasha and Madhu (hope I spelled their names correctly).

I would definitely return – in fact, I will return to this boat!

Great Service

It's the first time I've used LiveAboard, and I can't recommend them enough. I will definitely use them again for any diving adventure I am planning on taking. The best bit (apart from their really cool staff) is that they have so many options, styles of accommodation, budgets, dates, etc., and I was looking for a great liveaboard for a reduced or discounted price.
The service the LiveAboard staff provided me was fantastic. They were very reliable and prompt in responding to my queries. Staff—exceptional. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

I can't wait to go for my next Liveaboard...

I went for my very first Liveaboard in April 2025 and I must say it was amazing. I thought that my dive trip was really worthwhile as everyday on board was just eat, sleep and dive. The food and crew was good. The operations from fetching to and fro from your hotel to the boat and subsequently to the dive sites were seamless! It really gave me a positive experience and I can't wait to go for my next Liveaboard.

A Good Company

I have used Liveaboard.com for over twenty dive boat bookings, as well as a couple of non-dive cruise bookings on the Adriatic Sea. Great experience booking with Liveaboard

Liveaboard were really good to deal with. Firstly in finding a trip that suited our budget and requirement and then after the trip in sorting out a few discrepancies. I highly recommend going through them as you can also get discounts on trips you may not get directly. They are also very quick to respond.

The live aboard booking experience is…

The live aboard booking experience is always good and easy the representatives are responsive and helpful. My experience on this boat this trip however was not the best. The 4 staff that were in charge of cleaning and food preparation were not following any adequate guidelines for safe preparation of food and I got very sick. I was not the only one. The boat is tired and dirty at the end of the season which is disappointing.
