Please dont buy from here

Please dont buy from here , its a fake website also even if they send the product its either defected or size is not proper. They dont have any toll free number to answer your querries. All they know is to sellthe product and give no service. Worst experience ever. Please be aware and dont waste your time and money on such place who doesnt care about the customer . Once you have paid the money they dont andwer any if your questions. Worst experience ever. Even when dropped a mail they reply very rudely and tell us to alter it from a local vendor even if its their mistake.

Really strong smell that doesn't wash out

Cute outfit and fast shipping but that's where it ends. Had the strongest, most unpleasant smell ever experienced in a piece of clothing from India and I've handled hundreds, including block prints and tie dyes. Gently handwashed it to try and get rid of the smell and so much of the dye bled out. The company will say dry clean only but how else do you get rid of the disgusting smell - which is still on the fabric even after washing. Now I'm wondering what kind of cheap chemicals were used in the dye and if it's safe for contact with skin - as they don't seem like normal fabric dyes. Especially when there was so much excess dye just sitting on the fabric fibres unfixed, you don't want that rubbing off on your kid's skin or transferring to light coloured clothing or furnishings. For the amount of money paid - which is expensive even by western standards - the quality is disappointing and their whole discerning branding seems to be just a clever tactic to fleece NRIs who have limited options. Handmade doesn't mean it's ok to send substandard products. Reasonable colourfastness and the absence of a strong smell has been an expectation for years now for commerically sold clothing in India. Wish I had have read the reviews before purchasing.

Outfit colour was not the same as online

I ordered a girls outfit for my 2 year old, cream/white lenhga. I received a light mustard shade lengha.
I emailed a side by side photo of what is online and what I received and was told this

'We understand that individual perceptions of color may vary due to screen settings, lighting conditions, and other factors.'

Absolute joke. Cream/white is Not a mix of yellow and orange.
They are happy to return if I send back of course covering the charges.
Terrible service

I have purchased 3/4 times before and been impressed. Sadly this will be the last time I purchase from them.

Terrible customer service and Zero responsibility

I find it surprising that this company is still in business with its abysmal customer service. I am obviously here to warn others from being defrauded by this company which happens in a variety of ways.

With that I will explain my situation. I placed an order to have a couple of dresses for my daughter shipped to the US. Right after I placed the order I got a payment declined email. Therefore I placed another order with the same payment method and this time the order went through. Eventually I ended up getting both the orders and when I tried to return the dresses for one of the order I was told that it’s their ‘policy’ that customer is responsible for paying shipping for the returns even though it’s a problem they created .
It goes without saying one star review is just to get my review in.

Pathetic quality of dress

Pathetic quality of dress. I ordered a party dress for my daughter’s third birthday. her birthday party was about to start and when I wore her the dress all the frills and fabric started coming out of stitches. To fix I tried to stitch in emergency and then more max more of it came out. Made me panic just before the party. For a special day when u order a dress, that has to be perfect for kid. But they can ruin your party by giving such poor quality dresses tagging them as party wear or festive wear. Be careful to buy and check before using

Unfinished dress and waste of money

We ordered a pink fanned out tulle dress for a fashion event and also were asked for custom measurements, which we provided. The dress received way too long, too wide and had an unfinished top/back instead of fanning out as advertised.

I spoke with the company via email and while they seemed interested at first, asking for photos and stating over and over that it passed their quality check, they wouldn't allow me to return the item so I had to pay an additional $125 for a seamstress to make it look like it was supposed to in the beginning, including taking it in on all sides and actually making the top fan out. They were shocked at the way it was sent.

I did a dispute with PayPal and the company finally has responded saying I can return it (buyer pays for return shipping to India)... although I already sent receipts from the seamstress. I'll NEVER consider them again.

CHEATING Customers

The company is a BIG CHEAT...MALPRACTICE

I wish I could give them 0 star but they are the worst online portal. I ordered a 4-5 year size dress for my under 3 year old child. The dress was 2 inch smaller than what is written on the website. When I asked for size change they asked me a restocking fee on 200Rs. I did not generate any return order but they picked up the dress from my place without my consent when I was not home.

So first they will deliver a product that does not match the description on the website and then take it away without customers consent and then charge them a restocking fees. At this point I am not even sure if I will get the remaining money back or not.

Worst Quality

Don’t fall for pictures.They have very poor quality dresses for the price they sell.Don’t waste the money on them.It’s doesn’t have free returns too.

Dishonest, inflexible, horrible customer service

Bought 2 adult outfits and 2 2-3 yrs old.

One adult outfit came torn, and the two toddler outfits weren’t the same size, one was way bigger. Both are their manufacturing faults. They refuse to acknowledge or accommodate, they decline replacement or exceptions. That’s not how customer service should work - these are almost fraudulent practices.

Finally no way to leave a review on their website - they’ve removed all negative reviews if you read through it so it is a big red flag regarding company’s work ethic and shady policies.

I had a bad experience with them

I had a bad experience with them. I ordered 3 dresses. I opened the dress to wear after 10 days. I was ironing the dress and found out it was torn from one side.I took a picture and sent it to customer care. Forgot about refund or replace they were not even acknowledge the issue. They replied me saying that they can’t do anything and their quality is the best. They have a bad customer service.

Poor customer service and not helpful. Dont buy from here!!

I bought 2 outfits for a 2-3 year old girl. One outfit came appropriately sized and the other was way too small for a 2-3 year old. If you live internationally, Little Muffet ask you to return on your own expenses and cover customs charges. I told them i have family returning to India but will be over the 30 days and if they can come to an agreement. They are not accommodating or helpful or understanding, especially when the outfit size is wrong and their fault. They said i have to return it within the 30 days. If you want your company and brand to be well known globally, then you need to have better customer services and learn to have some suggestions to the customer and/or come to an agreement. The prices if their outfits are already over priced and yet their customer service is awful. Think a million times before buying from here.

$400 ghagra with one shouler top…

I ordered ghagra with one shouler top in teal pink and gold.

The skirt- beautiful look. However, it’s heavy and hangs low.
For the price point of this outfit, the dupatta should have been included to cover the waist area (because skirt is heavy).

The top - it is much shorter than advertised. Therefore more of her torso is showing. Another reason why a dupatta should be included in the outfit.
I measured my daughter and provided to little muffet - and the top was too tight. I had to get it altered and the top doesn’t sit right.(it sits sloppy and uneven). Plus the beads came apart on the flower design.

The refund - the price changed as I opted to have the outfit delivered in India (vs overseas). razor pay didn’t issue a refund. I had to open a dispute case with paypal to retrieve the money. It was a ‘wild goose chase’ which took 1 month.

In summary, the outfit is beautiful but the measurements are inaccurate; and the top quality is poor. For the price I paid ($400 cad) a dupatta should be included.

Would not recommend at this time. They didn’t do anything to rectify the situation.

Really bad service

Really bad service,

If you can’t find something and you email them for help like please show me pink outfit they say go on the website see yourself. Very unhelpful there email and contact number means nothing. Even delivery may not come in time as my friend ordered they don’t stick to what they promise.

Bad dress quality and worst customer experience

Would give zero stars if I could! I placed an international order (from USA) from littlemuffet.com and seeing the reviews and return policy which stated I had 30 days to return the item, I bought a dress for my daughter. I sent the dress to my Indian address because I was going to visit in 2 weeks when I placed the order. First red flag: delivery wasn't done to the home but my aging father in law had to go to a 'center' to pick up the package because they claimed it cannot be delivered. 2nd red flag: After I arrived in India and tried the dress on my daughter, it was a bad fit. Plus material was very scratchy and uncomfortable for a child. 3rd red flag: The clothes tag was a yellow sharp plastic tagged on the sleeve and so close to my baby's eye. I was really scared it would poke or hurt her eye. I immediately emailed customer service for an exchange and was told that I cannot return/refund/exchange for another outfit because I did not email them within 10 days of delivery. I explained it was an international order and well within the 30 day return period and I hadn't tried it on my daughter till yet. Same response. Cannot be returned or exchanged. No help for genuine customer issues. Stay AWAY and do not be fooled by all 5 star reviews on the website. 4th red flag: They pick and choose only good reviews to be published on the website. Save your money!!!

Disappointed, poor quality and customer service

Ordered two ethnic wears for my 8 month old son. The packaging was pretty poor considering it was going to travel from Mumbai to London. It just arrived in a plastic bag with broken buttons on the pocket. When I contacted their customer service the response was rather disappointing. According to them, they made sure the clothes were quality checked and hence they don't hold any responsibility plus if you want to return you will have to do it at your own expense. The only positive I can say is the package arrived in good time and was well tracked. Not enough to either recommend or use this site again.
