Just as well I wasn't having a dinner party.

The 5 star reviews are fake. This merchant is manipulating trust pilot scores. A simple validation investigation by trust pilot would expose this fraud.
Liqroo has possibly gone bust

I raised a chargeback through my bank and after about 3 weeks, I got my money refunded in full.

After numerous attempts to contact them, they don't respond to any of my emails, they never answer their phone and now their website has gone offline.
I received an email from Annie (Customer Care) on 6 September saying that they had water damage in their store but they are shipping from a new location and I would receive my order Wednesday, 9 September. Since this email, I received no further emails and never received my order.
I have contacted my bank and raised a chargeback against Ligroo. If this will work or get my money back, I don't know but worth a try.

would give zero stars if I could. Ordered a nice whisky too get a phone call 3 days later saying it wasn't in stock and wouldn't be again at which point I requested a refund. After 3 weeks still hasn't received my money back or any communication from the company so I sent them an email to enquire. Told the order had been cancelled and a refund initiated and to wait 3 days. Another week passes with no refund, email again same response. 2 weeks later email again to no response so raised a claim through PayPal. After 3 days got an email saying the order had only them been cancelled and I had been awarded a refund. Absolute charlatans had no intention on refunding me, and the "out of stock" whisky remained on their website for 3 weeks after telling me it was essentially discontinued. Avoid this company at all costs if you don't want to be robbed.

No customer service at all! No next day delivery arrived like 3weeks after ordering and event has already passed! Will not order again!
Would never use them again
Would never use them again. No info after ordering so I emailed and was told the wparehouse had a flooding issue. Fair enough but why not notify customers there'll be a delay.
Anyway, then I get a phone call saying that due to a glitch in their computer system, the right shipping fee wasn't paid and I needed to pay 5.99 more. Hmmm doesn't sound right. I check my credit card statement and see the full amount was deducted. I try to recalculate my order online and fill my cart but when I try to calculate the shipping the system says it is unable to do so. Clearly they have a glitch but why I should trust that I owe them the amount they say is uncertain.
I decide to cancel my order and ask for a refund. The events that I wanted the drinks for have passed now anyway. With no further communication from them in response to my refund request, I next get a DPD email saying my delivery will come the next day. That's inconvenient for us but when I try to rearrange delivery DPD say that I have an incorrect package number. We have to wait in for it anyway.
When it arrives it is swathed in an enormous amount of plastic packaging. This is despite their label saying that the shipping is "responsible" and "CO2 neutral". Yeah, right.
I ring to complain about the whole process. Lady is apologetic and I tell her that the whole problem is a total lack of communication on their part. She says even she was unaware of issues with the order so even internal communication has issues.
Anyway, I then laboriously unpack the individually packaged beers from the two cases of 24 only to find that there are only 22 of one kind. Unbelievable.
I've written for a refund for those two beers. I simply don't want anything more to do with them nor a mountain more plastic to be created for shipping two more bottles to me.
Never again.
Unpleasant Customer Service
The website was easy to use but customer service was terrible - really rude and did not provide helpful information or solve my problem. I never received an order confirmation and got a shipping update 24 hours after my order arrived. The whole experience felt very sketchy and I would not use this site again.

To cut a long story short, after waiting 6 weeks for my order to arrive, there were missing items and out of date items. I contacted Liqroo straight away and it has now been 2 months and no response. No reply to emails or voicemails.

Speedy delivery, unfortunate ending!
We ordered some beer and were impressed by the speed of the delivery as we ordered Sunday and it arrived on Monday, despite being told it would arrive on Wednesday.
It was all going so well, until the driver opened the door of the van and sneezed with his face uncovered all over the beer and everything else in the van. He seemed not to notice what he had done. My husband was so shocked. He had to put on gloves and leave the box outside after spraying with disinfectant spray. Luckily the beer was plastic wrapped so not ruined, especially as some of it is a present!!
