We were looking for our next home and spoke to a few estate agents but Linay & Shipp really stuck out for us as a moral and respected agent. They treated us really well and made us feel like our opinions mattered, as some places we found they just churn people in and out just to get a sale. After we chose our place they were so helpful and answered all our questions and was with us every step of the way until completion. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Linay and Shipp provided a first class service from my initial consultation through to completion. The house was sold in the first morning of viewings which ensured minimal disruption to my family. They supported me throughout the process, kept me informed and communicated with everyone in the chain to ensure exchange and completion went through. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They put other agents to shame. Outstanding!

A great local estate agent that puts you first while being very fairly priced! Our whole experience with Linay and Shipp was positive. We had about 6 companies come to value our property with the majority massively overvaluing (in our opinion) and then applying pressure in the days and weeks after the valuation which put us off.
Linay and Shipp were honest with their valuation and worked with us to ensure we were happy with the marketing strategy. They organised the EPC, professional photographs, floor plan/layouts and confirmed a go-live date with us that worked around holidays and times we were not available for viewings.
We had great communication by phone and email and we felt very comfortable leaving L&S to show potential buyers round our property without us being home. Thanks to L&S our property sold very quickly after only the second block of bookings which was a relief!

Fantastic service from the whole team throughout the process. Initial valuation and agreement process was professional, friendly and empathetic. Viewings were conducted around my schedule of availability and well organised to minimise the number of blocks of time allocated for viewings. Negotiations were handled very smoothly. The process from offer acceptance to exchange was monitored well, with updates provided regularly. Completion was equally smooth. I cannot fault one single element in the process and I'm delighted that I chose Linay & Shipp to handle my sale. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Very happy, good service throughout

We would like to thank Linay & Shipp team as they were very responsive and efficient. Particularly Breda Phipps in the sales team who had provided an excellent service during the sale and purchase process.
In just 48 hours our house was under STC. Before viewing started, Breda collected all the information so that she was able to provide response to the queries of the potential buyers.
During purchase process, Breda was very supportive and provided answer to all our queries. Even after our move to the new property she personally visited to confirm everything is fine.

All the staff at Linay & Shipp Orpington made the selling of my property very easy. Communication was very good and I was kept very well informed through all stages of the process.

Helen helped with our purchase through Linnay and Ship and she was brilliant! offered re-assurances and chased solcitors when they didn't want to talk to me and even allowed us to do a fly by pick up as we had a annoyed cat in the back of the car!
