Bought two games from this fraudulent company 18 months ago and still haven't received anything!

Customer service is a joke!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRIMINALS!!!

I wanted to buy the RETRO INSPIRED CONTROLLER & ARZETTE THE JEWEL OF FARAMORE BUNDLE. What do you get in this package? One plastic controller in the design of the old Philips CD-I controller. Nothing special. You also get a piece of paper with a download code for the game. That's it. Nothing else but the box.

Price to buy it? USD?$54.99.

Price to buy it from Australia? $219 AUD. The shipping costs for a light piece of plastic and a paper card costs literally MORE than 3x the price. In what way can you even justify that?

Well, I guess I miss out on that because of their terrible business practices, especially with it being limited time only.

Limited Run is a fantastic company for limited physical games. They are based in the US and I order from the UK. Never had any issues until recently one of the game was stuck with courier but the team responded quickly and provided a solution. Excellent customer service so I highly recommend them. To all the negative reviews - they have no clue how limited run work. The games are in production so it will take a a while so please refer to the company website for more information. The games received never damage and well protected. I have been buying from them for more than 5 years and will continue to do so.

Space invaders on switch took an absolute eternity to arrive. There is no way to get any real progress on an order.
Cthulu saves Christmas on ps5 took a very long time to arrive.

I logged onto their website trying to check on the status of my order. The page didn't load properly. Then I got an email stating that my pre-order was canceled. Thinking that this is an easy fix, I contacted customer service by email. The rep Conor replied, stating that they cannot fix the problem becauseI initiated the cancelation.
I explained the chain of event to him, and his answer was the same. I asked to speak to a manager but was ignored. This is awful customer service! I bought from them for years, and I still have other pre-orders, but I think I will cancel them. Often, I find physical copies of the games in Asian markets. Will go to those sites instead. I can't believe Limited Run won't make things right when it was clearly their fault.

Horrible company. Takes over a year to get your order. Sometimes longer. Staff are woke too.

I like physical copies of games but Limited Run always manages to disappoint me. Command & Conquer came without a physical game despite the illustration, the final disk was labeled "Assets Disk". I've been waiting almost two years for an order, and I've waited 8 months for another order with all available items. Which merchant needs 8 months to ship an order from its own warehouse?

The list goes on, my most recent order was missing an item. Nevertheless, I decided to change my rating from 1 to 3 stars because customer support responded quickly and well twice. A subsequent delivery was arranged immediately and it arrived 3 weeks later. I had to pay customs fees, which is wrong, but I got them refunded immediately after contacting support.

Slimey slugs. Horrible business practices.

Borderline scam company. When they advertise as the "estimated" delivery, make sure to tack on YEARS to their estimate to get a realistic idea of when they can deliver to you.

Estimates being off by YEARS is not an estimate. They are not a construction company they are a retail game company. If you are not ready to offer a reasonable estimate, don't offer one at all.

And BTW, they charge you IMMEDIATELY when you place an order, not when they deliver the product. They take your money right away, and then you have to wait years to get it. And good luck getting a refund because they only offer refunds on a CASE BY CASE basis.

And on top of all this, their customer service is extremely rude and arrogant! They treat you like you're the idiot for even asking for their help. They are so arrogant and they treat their customers like crap.

Horrible company, shame on them for happily taking peoples money and blatantly lying about their estimate dates. They also do not give you timely updates. I didn't get an update on my order until a whole year has passed.

I learned about them through MetalJesusRocks and I'm just so disappointed. I hope he would see this and help take actions to make this better.

This is not how you treat customers.

After 13 months they finall shipped it. Wth that's the first and last time I'll ever buy from them.

If I never asked/complained to push it faster, they probably would have sent it within 2 years like these reviews here. Wth

I waited 2 years for my Castlevania collectors edition. Other collectors editions have taken well over a year on multiple occasions.

5 nintendo switch games so far from limited run around 4-6 Months delivery time.

Sadly its not possible to give 0 stars.
1.5 years waiting for an item that apparently is now undeliverable, and I am currently still fighting for a refund. Due to the wait no company/bank can help me fight the payment charge so I'm out nearly £200. Do NOT make the same expensive mistake as me.

Back in late march of 2023 I bought a deluxe version of a game for NSW and after 10 months it’s come in mint condition, so happy with the game itself and the physical addons. I’d buy again if any games I’m interested in are published by them.

Noticed the other day that a limited run order I'd made over a year ago was 'Ready' but 'Unfilled'. I noted that sellers on Ebay were already selling every game on my order, so enquired when it would be sent.
After a vague reply 'Our shipping team is working through a high volume of shipments at this time so it is taking a bit to work through the current queue. ' and 'Check you emails for a tracking notice'...

So, I then ask 'Ok, so can you tell me when the final product on my order was made available? If I know this then I'll be able to have a guess as to when it may be sent'...

To which I received 'From what I can see the last game that completed manufacturing was PS5 Limited Run # 7: Shantae and the Seven Sirens Collector's Edition around 7 months ago.'

7 Months. And They have ALL the items in stock and ready to post...? WTH??? If they are so overworked, employ more staff. 7 months + another year (April 2022 Order and it's now Jan 2024) AND NO DELIVERY DATE YET??? And no appology for their incredibly poor service. Use VGP if you ever need to purchase LRG games. You'll end up having a much better experience, and free shipping over 99 canadian so probably doesn't cost too much more.

Waited 6 months for 2 games. Received email they had shipped, 2 months later still no games and support says package lost. Inform me I can get a replacement or refund. I said send a replacement, that was 3 weeks ago and still no response after requesting updates.

Had to wait a long time for the game... still haven't got it.
I moved house since I ordered it.
They wouldn't let me change the address to my new one as the order was supposedly being processed.
SIX MONTHS later the order finally shipped.
They decided to use DHL to send it. But that's a story for another company review...

took 1.5 yrs to receive my product. The product image was completely deceiving: they sent me a different poster than what was posted. Also, the packaging was poor and many of the cards they sent me ended up bent. Customer support is unhelpful. It seems Limited Run Games banks on the fact that it's more trouble than its worth to get your money back.

This company is a scam, they will take your money and over 2 year's later still no game. You get bs email responses with no true customer support. Buy from if you dare, you have been warned ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️.

Well over a year waiting for Blade Runner on PS4. Stock replies to emails saying it will come when it comes. Status has been 'ready' but 'unfullfiled' for months now. Total waste of time and money. Don't touch these clowns with a barge pole.
