'Lily & Jude' sounds like a UK company, and their website does a good job of making them look like a UK operation. BUT they hide the fact that
- they are based in China
- all returns have to be sent back to China
- the customer has to pay for returns to China.
THERE IS NO MENTION OF ANY OF THIS UNTIL YOU WANT TO RETURN AN ITEM.
When you request a return, they send offers of discounts on future orders (which I don't want) and they state that 90% OF RETURNS ARE LOST so you won't get a refund. This is despite their website assuring you of a no-hassle return. Sure enough, nearly 2 MONTHS AFTER RETURNING MY ITEM I STILL HAVE NO REFUND.

I had two orders which I returned due to the low quality and since July have not received a refund.

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes as unsure of sizing took over 3 weeks to arrive. The shoes were very cheaply made and sizing too big. Immediately emailed for returns form and have been completely ignored. The shoes were over £40 each so I’m over £80 out of pocket.

Wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Absolute sham of a company.
Took weeks to arrive from CHINA.
Quality is non existent. Like really non existent.
Try to send back and they try to get you to keep by reducing the price. When you do send back and PAY for the privilege, it comes back to you as undelivered.

Dress took 3 weeks to arrive as came from China NOT from London which their website leads you to believe with the photo of their shop. Dress ok but not as nice as photo of it. As it was too small for me I emailed them requesting a refund several times but no response. Did a chargeback claim from my credit card and this was approved. This resulted in the company emailing me to say my refund had been issued - no apologies for ignoring all my emails.

A scam. Chinese cheap polyester crap, NOT the linen that was advertised. Took weeks to arrive.
I feel so stupid falling for their sob Story about closing the business, poor health etc etc.
These are cheap, shoddy, badly made crappy clothes, definitely not what was advertised.
Do NOT buy from them. A Chinese run scam.

Absolute scammers, took 5 weeks for my order to arrive despite constant contact with customer services dealt with Karen who was basically just ensuring the package was delivered so they wouldn't have to return my money.. when the order arrived it was poorly packed and the quality of the dress & shoes are shocking.. I wouldn't have paid a fiver for them.. website is totally misleading, they are not who they say they are do not get sucked in like I did... the only reason I ordered from them was for a pair of shoes then they had got me, hook,line & sinker!! blatantly a SCAM...BEWARE DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE ABSOLUTE *****

This is a scam company. They use the same scam sob story about closing down due to partner’s ill health and/or relationship failure. They use photos of a quality looking jacket, which I now know is a stolen image used by many scam companies, and pretend to be located in a store in London. The jacket arrived three weeks later made from thin and desperately cheap material akin to a bin bag. The sewing was so poor that one sleeve and one pocket were falling off upon arrival, as well as a big unsewn area at the elbow where it gapes open. It was packaged in a tiny plastic bag with no paperwork. Shame on Shopify for allowing their payment platform to be used by these hoaxers. Do not even think about buying from this company.

I stupidly ordered the same item twice. I received what appeared to be a helpful response informing me it was find to send one item back when received. The co ord itself was nice so I wanted to keep one. I was then told I could send it back but there was no point as it would cost me lots abd probably get lost. I was offered a 35% refund which I accepted. Now they are ignoring my messages. No refund and two of the same item. AVOID

After 17 days waiting the dress I ordered from them arrive, it was crammed into a tiny bag with NO paperwork.
It was cheap rubbish fabrics, although the advert on Instagram looked a quality frock.
As there were no instruction, no paperwork at all, so I sent it back to the original address. When I enquired about the refund they said 'I should have gone on-line and found the address (in Hong Kong) and sent it back there !! How much would that have cost me?? And then they'd probably have another excuse why I wouldn't get a discount.
DON'T BUY FROM THEM
All their replies are generated from AI and are crafted and designed with skill to 'shut you up' and refuse to give a refund - !!

Exactly what everyone else has said. Feel so stupid I got sucked in!! Absolute pile of rubbish I was sent. Nothing like the photographs. I wish I could post photographs! They steal other Webb sites and photographs and then make up a load of awful rubbish in Hong Kong. A lot of money out of pocket!!!! DO NOT be fooled and buy from these sites they are criminals!!!

Total scam - they should be shut down - quality of the product is awful and the return process doesnt exist. You have to ship it back to China for a cost of over £1000

I wish I had read the reviews first! Basically, what others have said, the shoes are ok (ish) but they're not exactly as photograpjhed they're obviously some other brands shoes or ones made with leather and are much nicer, as the reality of those that are arrived are cheap faux suede and not that good quality. The sole is quite strong though rather than being rubber so that is a bonus but are they worth the £40 odd I spent on them, no.. Can't send them back as you have to pay to do that and I will likely wear them as 'doesn't matter if I trash them shoes' but I would never buy from this company again... They are cheaply made that should be on Shein for like £7 not £45!

This company also advertise under many other names such as hughes-Manchester. Same company behind the scenes based outside of the uk and ship from china. Terrible products and customer service. Don’t offer refunds as they say it’s unlikely the goods will make it back to them. Out of pocket by £130, wish I had done my research first.

Please do not buy from this company. They have multiple alias's online - Rova London, Halden & Wolfe, Mary Jane, Daisy & Lily, Emma's Boutique, and Cleo & Mae Boutique. No doubt there are plenty more.

Each online page advertises exactly the same clothes, with similar back stories for the company.

The clothing items are absolutely nothing like what is advertised. The fabric is appalling, the items have no garment labels so it is impossible to verify the so called 'linen' content. The 'sales' pitch is a scam and the items do not come from anywhere within the UK. I have reported the company to Action Fraud in the UK as they are quite openly operating an online shop scam, providing appalling quality cloths at high cost across multiple branded websites.

Why didn’t I read the reviews first? Believed the sob story and was taken in. My £40 shoes are not leather, just plastic and don’t even fit - may fit a child.

Do not fall for the money off like I did. Quality is awful and the shoes don’t match the image. Nothing like they show in the photos. Total rip off. Wouldn’t pay £5 for them

I’m only sorry I didn’t read the reviews before I ordered from this sorry excuse of a business. I ordered a pair of shoes. It took 3 weeks to arrive and missed a key event. That saying I would have never have worn them as the quality was SHOCKING and the shoes nothing like they looked online. The customer service assistant Karen (ironic to call herself customer service), wouldn’t cover my return costs to ship back to China.
DO NOT USE this business. Terrible in every way.
Not a business, a brand or anything that resembles anything you should buy from.
They should focus their time doing something else and stay away from retail.

DO NOT USE!! Is a complete scam, clothes take 3 weeks to arrive from china, the quality is absolutely terrible and when you want a refund they refuse. Keep trying to offer 20% refund and I keep the dresses, which do not fit!
