Poor delivery times!!

Very disappointed in Lily-Flame - I ordered a gift for a friend and it didn’t arrive on time, even though I ordered Thursday morning as it says on their website - I would have it dispatched the same day. I subsequently (after contacting them), learned it had only been dispatched yesterday (Monday)
No apology - just an explanation to say they had a computer problem - if you want an efficient service - look elsewhere.

They don’t respond to queries …

I have bought their red diffusers from John Lewis before and absolutely love them. The one I usually buy is not available on John Lewis so I thought I’d register with the website direct where they are in stock. I encountered problems registering and filled in the contact form asking for help. It’s a pity they didn’t bother to respond.

I just want to state that I haven’t…

I just want to state that I haven’t bought a lily flame candle but have spent 40 minutes trying to understand what their wax is made from. Their website talks about love etc of people, of candles etc etc BUT is not explicit about the wax used. Why? So I will buy a candle that is more honest in their manufacturing details.

Toxic scented candles....gave me a headache...ingredients are not on candle container...would have thought essential oils would be part of ingredients... Shame on you...

Toxic Sooty Wax...

My partner brought a Lily-Flame candle home today and I looked everywhere to find out what it's made from, usually when this information is hard to find it means a company is trying to hide the fact that there are nasties in the product, I eventually found this "Made from a blend of Mineral and vegetable waxes" Mineral waxes are waxes obtained from petrochemicals: paraffin and microcrystalline wax. What is bad about Paraffin wax you may ask, well read this: "Is Paraffin Wax Toxic? Paraffin wax is commonly used to make candles and wax melts because it is generally cheaper to produce than soy wax. Since paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, coal, or shale oil, it has been found to contain known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents) such as benzene" I'll not be buying any Lily-Flame candles until they go 100% natural wax...
