We were extremely satisfied with our Everest Base Camp trek with Life Himalaya Trekking.
From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was organized perfectly. Due to weather conditions, the company arranged a helicopter flight for us, which made the start of our adventure even more special.
Our guide, Rabin, was exceptional. He was kind, caring, and looked after us every step of the way. Whenever we felt unwell, he made sure we were comfortable and helped us recover. His knowledge of the mountains, careful approach to acclimatization, and genuine care for our well-being allowed us to continue the journey safely. Most importantly, he treated us like family, making the entire trek feel like a trip with friends rather than a guided tour.
Our porter, Arjun, was equally amazing. He was always cheerful, funny, and incredibly helpful. During acclimatization hikes and challenging moments, he even helped with our backpacks when we were struggling. His positive attitude made every day more enjoyable.
Both Rabin and Arjun are true gems and a huge asset to the company. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us.
A special thank you also goes to Shiba, the owner of Life Himalaya Trekking. He was friendly, professional, and made our experience truly special from beginning to end.
I also had a unique experience during this trip as I participated in the Everest Marathon. Rabin and Arjun came to support me, pace me, and cheer me on during the final kilometers, helping me reach the finish line. It meant so much to me and is something I will never forget.

Life Himalaya Trekking took great care of us. We wanted to do Everest Base Camp in as little time as possible and found this company. We found out they are family owned Sheba is the owner and his son Raj were both awesome. Sheba first started as a Sherpa, then became a guide and now owns his own company. Our guide Rabin was so kind to us! Rabin always went out of his way to take care of us every step of the way. Rabin also started as a Sherpa and now is a guide. I would highly recommend this company our shortened trip to Everest Base Camp from 10 to 7 days because of our tight schedule was a success and a trip of a life time that my good friend and I will remember the rest of our lives. What an amazing experience and a spacial thank you to Sheba, Raj, and our incredible guide Rabin for making it happen and bringing us back safe.

We climbed Mera Peak with the Life Himalayas Trekking company.
Starting from pick up at the airport, we had a great experience. We met Shiba the next day who gave us our sleeping bags, heavy jackets etc…
We had an helicopter ride to Lukla which was very smooth, due to the weather reasons we were routed to Surkey. We met our guides Sagar and Robin in Surkey. Their main priority was our safety and how to make our experience better.
Mera Peak trek was much more technical than whatI had imagined!!! The terrain was the tough and rugged , a challenging terrain. The two guides made sure that all 4 of us crossed the difficult downhill sections, passed through the icy conditions at times unharmed.
The arrangements at the tea houses were excellent. We had a lots kf perks such as hot water to wash our faces etc… of course hot showers which only my brother utilised…. The porter service was excellent as well.
The experience at mountaineering was another level. They taught us the skills very patiently, we had to learn to wear our mountaineering boots to crampons to using the ropes etc….. the two clombing sherpas were awesome. The ratio was 1:1 for the final 2 days of climbing.
The arrangements at the high camp was phenomenal.
My guide Sagar and my brothers guide Robin were out of this world. They patiently helped us the final day of the summit and helped us achieve the feat of climbing 6476 meters which was a daunting task to me.
The entire trek was a great experience.
Once we came back to KTM, they helped us track things that were accidentally left behind including finding a missing iphone!!!! I have no words to describe the wonderful experience we had with this group. Their priority is their customers safety and satisfaction.
I recommend this company to my friends and family with out any hesitation.
Raj and Binod received us back in KTM. Raj gave us a farewell dinner and had us dropped off at the airport.
We had a saying in one of the teahouses which said “come as a guest and leave as family”.
Thats what I am experiencing today.
I miss our guides and the Himalayas. Who knows, i might return back for another trek and will be using the same company as I think they are the best.

A big shoutout as well to our porter, Dhanka Ji—the quiet force behind the scenes. Always ahead of us, ensuring our luggage was safe and waiting, yet carrying it all with humility and a smile. His energy and dedication were truly inspiring.

I was recommended Life Himalaya Trekking by a friend when I was searching for a reliable local company that could offer safety, reassurance, and flexibility—especially as I was planning to trek solo in the Himalayas. From the outset, Shiba was approachable and responsive, maintaining clear communication both before and throughout the trek, which made a big difference.

He helped design a customised itinerary covering the Gokyo–Cho La Pass route through to Everest Base Camp, tailored to my pace and preferences. My guide, Rabin, was excellent—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very intuitive. He understood my pace well, never rushing me, but keeping a steady rhythm that allowed me to enjoy each village and stage of the trek.

A special mention also goes to our porter, Balram, who was incredibly supportive and dependable throughout.

What stood out even before the trek began was the level of care—Shiba and his team (including Raj) went out of their way to help when my baggage didn’t arrive in Kathmandu due to an airline issue. That level of support immediately gave me confidence I was in good hands.

Throughout the trek, everything was well organised—accommodation, food, and overall logistics were taken care of seamlessly. My comfort and safety were clearly a priority at all times. They were also very flexible, happily adjusting the final day’s plan so I could spend an extra day in Kathmandu to relax after the trek.

Overall, Shiba and his team are true professionals who made what is a once-in-a-lifetime experience both enjoyable and stress-free. I would highly recommend Life Himalaya Trekking to anyone planning an adventure in Nepal, particularly trekking in the Himalayas.

I had an amazing time trekking in Nepal, along with my friend Ed, Bini (guide) and Bihm (porter), who were great the entire way and made the journey
easy and fun. I learned a lot from them on this trip.
Although the original plan was to complete the Manaslu, severe weather made us change plans. The owner, Shiba, was very accommodating and
suggested various safer alternatives, that would still cover the full time that we had planned for Manaslu. We decided on completing the
Langtang Valley Trek and the Gosaikunda-Laurie Banak Pass trek. All of the extra permits were covered by Shiba, as well as any extra costs.

The trek was beautiful and did not disappoint. The weather and the views were incredible. A very memorable trip thanks our guide and porter, who were amazing for the full 14 days.
highly recommend Life Himalaya. Next time I come back to trek, I will be looking to book with these 2 amazing people!!

Our Annapurna Circuit trek with Life Himalaya was truly the experience of a lifetime. From the very first message, Shiba (the owner) went above and beyond — organizing everything seamlessly and making sure every detail was just right. His care and professionalism really set the tone for the whole journey.

Our guide, Kiran, was amazing — knowledgeable, funny, patient, and always looking out for us. He made the trek both safe and fun, and quickly felt more like a friend than a guide.

The luxury lodges in Manang and Muktinath were wonderful — cozy rooms, hot showers, great food, and views that were simply breathtaking. Each day brought new scenery and challenges, and crossing Thorong La was unforgettable.

I can’t recommend Life Himalaya, Shiba, and Kiran enough. They turned what could have been just another trek into something truly special

I start with an apology, mainly to Shiba: this review is nearly a year late!

Hereafter, I continue with many thanks to many people: chiefly, my thanks to Shiba, to Kiran and to Sridhoj for helping my wife and I to complete the trip of a lifetime.

We decided to tackle the Everest Base Camp trek as part of our honeymoon and settled upon Life Himalaya Trekking after taking the advice of some friends who had completed the same trek with the same company the previous year - their recommendation, amply supported by these incredible online reviews convinced us initially. Thereafter, Shiba's fantastic communication confirmed that we'd made a fine choice even before we arrived in Kathmandu. Shiba is patient, kind, insightful, extremely responsive and vastly experienced and knowledgeable, helping us with everything from what to pack, to when to visit, from where to stay in Kathmandu to how long to stay.

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, Shiba arranged for us to be collected from the airport by our guide for the EBC trek, Kiran. We were greeted with a friendly smile and garlanded with marigold-flower necklaces - what a lovely, vibrant welcome!

Shiba and Kiran talked us through everything that we needed to know about our trek later that same day, at our hotel. Thereafter, our entire trek was memorable for all the right reasons. As many reviewers have already attested: this is a family company filled with passionate, conscientious experts. Kiran supported us both every step of the way both to and from EBC, including a breath-taking climb up Kala Patthar to watch the sun set over Everest. Sridhoj was an incredible porter, hefting both of our packs with practised ease, strong and always smiling.

There were one or two challenges along the way (food poisoning and poor weather back in Lukla that backed up hundreds of people trying to leave the trail at the end of their own adventures): Kiran and Life Himalaya Trekking in general did a superb job of supporting us and ensuring that we made it back to Kathmandu safely, as promptly as possible, full to the brim with the wonder of a truly transformative fortnight.

Shiba and Kiran rounded off our amazing adventure with a farewell dinner at a fabulous rooftop restaurant in the bustling Thamel district of Kathmandu - this was a thoughtful, brilliant way to conclude our shared experience.

Thank you so, so much, Shiba, Kiran, Sridhoj and everyone at Life Himalaya Trekking for delivering such a heart-felt, personal and exceptional life experience for us both - we look forward to sharing the trail with you in the future!

I went trekking with these guys back in June of this year. These guys are amazing and I had the best holiday to date in Nepal. The guys were very helpful, answered all emails and very informative. Very helpful and knowledgeable on the trek. Milan our guide was good craic and joined in the cards at night and was very friendly. They are very safe and have everything planned in advance. I actually could not recommend these guys high enough.

When we made the decision to visit Nepal and hike to Everest Base Camp, we came across Life Himalaya Trekking Pvt and decided to book our adventure with them, and it really was the best decision we made. Their planning of our trip and accomodations along the Trek were excellent. What an incredible company to trek with! They had my best interest at heart from start to finish. I felt so incredibly safe and looked after during my time with them. They are not just a company, but genuine people who take great pride in their roles. I was a solo traveller and they made my experience one I will never forget. To whoever is reading this, hand on heart you are in safe hands with these people. I had the time of my life, and it was because of the people I was around.

He was incredible, iv travelled alot over the years and I think nepal was the best if I decide to do annapurna I will be choosing life trekking again.

My nephew and I did the EBC trek in April 2024 with life Himalaya. We booked the luxury experience for the two of us, which started and ended at Aloft in Kathmandu. The team was awesome from day one to day 13! Luxury experience included helicopter ride to Lukla so we avoided flight delays that others had to face. Jal was our phenomenal guide who walked with us our porter carried our bigger bags. Every tea house was clean and quite, we stayed mostly away from loud crowds which was much appreciated. My favourite time was the side trek to a monastery where I saw a yeti’s head! I also appreciate that Jal synched his speed with my slower speed while my nephew sprinted ahead of us, this way each of us got to enjoy the trek at an our own pace. The Garlic soup and dal Bhat lunches are also very memorable. The views cannot be explained, you just have to experience yourself. With the luxury trip we also had helicopter ride back from the last village, Gorakshep to Lukla and then another to Kathmandu. Worth every penny! I can’t say enough for all the work this team put in to ensure that our trip was safe, successful and memorable. Thanks to Jal, our porter and Shiba, we have memories for a lifetime.

If you want a fabulous company that takes care of you as though you are their family, life Himalaya is the one. We had a group of 10 women from the US and 4 guides with us and 6 porters. The ten days we spent in hiking the EBC route with these gentlemen were unforgettable. While scenery was breathtaking, what remained in our hearts after we came back to Massachusetts was their kindness, the care they took to make sure we were safe and our every need was met even if it was inconvenient for them.
The guides were on constant watch and the moment one of us would even reach for something in our backpacks, one of them would offer to take out whatever we needed. If one of us slowed down, a guide would stay back with the person and communicate with the rest to keep going. Each evening they would take feedback to incorporate it into the next day. Each night they would inform us about the next day while checking our oxygen level. They would inform us about what to expect the next day so there were no surprises. They would stop to explain about each mountain we saw and give us some background about the villages we crossed. They would explain the simple lifestyle in the villages. The guides make all the difference in how unique and personal the hike becomes and life Himalaya guides were amazing professionals who felt like brothers. They took more pleasure in taking our group photos than we did. I highly recommend them for any hike in Nepal.
