Lever allows us to identify, target, reach-out, and keep track of great talent. If you use Lever the right way, it pays off for teams 2, 3, 4+ years down the road. It's a system that keeps on giving. I used lever at Grand Rounds for 4+ years, and we recently implemented at Sendoso.

Amazing user experience from end to end with Lever !
I really enjoyed discovering the Nurture feature that helps me save a lot of time. The team collaboration on hiring is really smooth thanks to Lever from reviewing sourced profiles and applications to completing interviews feedbacks. Using Lever really ease the implementation of new collaborative hiring process within GitBook.
My experience with Lever is the first user experience I ever had that encourages me to recommend a product being 100% confident ! I enjoyed every step of my experience with Lever from the very 1st call discovering the product with Bryan Burke, all the way to the amazing on-boarding led by Gagan Brar until being an actual power user of Lever.
There is not much things I didn't like about Lever. If I would think of one, it would be the grey UI that is not really appealing and sometimes the UX such as having to go back on settings part to update a template but those doesn't reduce the great user experience one should have using Lever.
Lever helps me a lot saving time on everything from applications review to interviews feedbacks, including sourcing and nurturing !

After slowly losing our minds while trying to handle our recruiting through Google Sheets, we did extensive research and vetted many different tools and competitors. We ended up going for lever because it had all the features we needed and was on the lower end of pricing.
They have an excellent and free onboarding service with dedicated account managers - Bahaar did a great job for us. We got our jobs live within 3 days and the tool is still surprising us in terms of how well thought and developed it is.

You upload a candidate and that's it. You're then completely locked out, can't edit, can't add additional notes, can't even see the candidate profile again.
I put lever a long way below every other system I've used including Taleo, Brassring, Workable, iCims, Peopleclick and jobvite.

Lever - some great and some not-so-great
Lever is a beautifully designed product. It has some really good functionality and it is also lacking some typical, "thought you didn't have to ask" functionality of an ATS (ie automatic closure of a job). I love the immediacy of the updating that occurs in Lever - I don't like the fact that all hiring managers with access to candidates can see all of the active applications they've got going. My implementation manager (B Cheema) was a shining light in the implementation process.

Clear and easy to use with great functionality. The implementation process was excellent, professional and made enjoyable by Rain. He is a real asset to the team.
Lever has beaten all our expectations!
We have recently implemented and launched Lever and it has surpassed all of our expectations. Lever's ethos to customer support is fantastic and refreshing. The system has allowed us to;
- Streamlining our processes
- Improved UX for the HR team
- Automation of some historic paper processes
- Improved application experience for candidates
- Improved onboarding experience for new hires.
- A really smooth/easy implementation process thanks to the fantastic Rain de Leon.
We are yet to find any negatives - however the team are passionate about improving functionality and encourage their clients to create wishlists for future releases.
Lever is a great ATS for small-mid-sized company productivity
Lever seems to be built with the user in mind, they used a bunch of automation that actually makes the workflow faster from scheduling to internal communication and creating documents like offer letters, etc. I realized results immediately upon implementing Lever with a higher volume of candidates scheduled for the same amount of work I did before.

Leading ATS for a Reason
Lever is a fantastic ATS for growing companies looking for a more robust system. The add-on of Nurture helps support talent acquisition, which is a differentiator in the ATS market. Lever makes it super easy to schedule interviews, create feedback forms (and make sure they're filled out), etc. It helps keep everyone accountable on all sides. The onboarding was quick and easy (shout out to Rain!).
I only wish I could manually upload a CSV of candidates to a job. But I can email it to tech support and they'll do it - which is great.
Highly Recommended ATS!
Pros: User intuitive interface that did not require much training for our hiring managers/interviewers, seamless job posting features, recruiting campaign features, easily migrating candidates from LinkedIn via Lever Nurture, different levels of user access for all members across our organization, stellar implementation team/customer service that get back to you in less than 24 hours
Cons: Interviewer feedback can only be sent if you schedule within the system. Knowing Lever's commitment to efficiency, I'm sure they will come up with a workaround.
Overall: Lever has streamlined our recruitment process. Our TA team and hiring managers are able to quickly review candidates and we spend less time e-mailing each other back and forth because we're able to communicate within the system.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Might be good for tiny companies but definitely not an enterprise tool unless all your looking for is a scheduling tool. The system doesn’t support html mails.. reasoning is they want it to feel like a mail not spam but seeing as most mails are html format this is insane. No easy way of seeing candidates attached to reqs.
Support is terrible, they just point you to articles written and then close ticket presuming it’s sorted. Customer success, account managers, and implementation engineers don’t seem to believe in the product and just want to pass off to the next person as quickly as possible. Feels like they take your money and say well you have to adapt your way of working to suit us. DONT TOUCH.
