Unfortunately they are being employed by a business that also has bad communication.
No matter how many times I have emailed this company they refuse to acknowledge me.
I have asked for important documents and letters, all very good asking me to supply documents and respond within 14 days when I get a email with less than 9days to respond. But when I respond to the sent emails I get nothing in return.
Therefor I can give a one star review in hope that they may look at how bad their communication is towards clients.
For a solicitors not to respond in my mind is very disappointing and many laws have been broken, all this evidence I will represent in court. And trust me a judge will find this very interesting, this information has been passed to the financial ombudsman.
Doug and Aaminah provided an excellent, quick and responsive service when we sold our flat and we would highly recommend them.

Olivia Singer helped me prepare an International Will that would incorporate all of my assets in the UK and US. I understand that all Solicitor Firms do not provide this service so Lester Aldridge was a referral from a local Solicitor Firm.
Olivia provided exceptional service in making this process run smoothly and efficiently. The whole process was handled remotely and included an initial video consultation which was helpful to have a face to face conversation. From there it took just a couple of weeks to prepare the document and finalize the arrangement.
I would definitely recommend the Lester Aldridge Firm and Olivia Singer for personal Will preparation.

1⭐ Review – Pre-Action Concerns, Reduced Deadline & Lack of Disclosure
I have serious concerns regarding the conduct of Lester Aldridge in relation to a disputed car finance agreement.
The underlying finance company — which currently holds a Trustpilot rating of 2.4 stars, with numerous reviews describing very similar issues — has chosen to escalate the matter to Lester Aldridge rather than address the substantive dispute. The agreement remains formally challenged and has been reported to the Financial Conduct Authority due to concerns regarding regulatory compliance.
I received correspondence stating that I had 14 days to respond, with reference to potential legal proceedings. However, the timeframe in reality amounts to approximately 9 days from receipt. In circumstances where no supporting documentation has been supplied, this is not a reasonable or proportionate period in which to properly assess or respond to a claim.
Despite written requests, I have not been provided with:
* The clear legal basis of the claim
* A breakdown of the sum alleged to be outstanding
* Copies of the agreement relied upon
* A statement of account
* Confirmation of compliance with the relevant Pre-Action Protocol
Under the Civil Procedure Rules and the Practice Direction on Pre-Action Conduct (and where applicable the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims), sufficient information and documentation should be provided before proceedings are threatened, so that a recipient can understand and respond meaningfully.
Threatening litigation while failing to provide requested evidence — particularly within what is effectively a shortened response window — appears premature and procedurally questionable.
My concern is not simply the existence of a dispute, but the absence of transparency, engagement, and proper pre-action disclosure.
I invite Lester Aldridge to provide the documentation requested and clarify their position.

Completed on a complex auction purchase and I have to say LA Solicitors (Chelsie Little & Rachel Gimson) have been amazing from start to finish. I gave up on the process due to a difficult seller but Chelsie did not give up on me as her client and pursued it until the matter was completed without further financial losses. Chelsie & Rachel in litigation worked cohesively and put in a lot of effort into completing my auction purchase. Both Chelsie and Rachel's support, responsiveness and attention to detail throughout the process were truly appreciated. Communication was excellent, I was kept informed every day via email and telephone call. I felt held, listened to and supported during a very difficult and challenging process. Both helped make what could have been a stressful and expensive experience feel smooth and manageable. I am eternally grateful to the excellent service received. As consumers, we are quick to complain when things go wrong and rightly so, but we must also acknowledge and celebrate businesses when we receive a good service. I cannot fault the service received in this matter in any way. You pay for what you get. Thank you Chelsie and Rachel.

We went with LA as a recommendation through a family member for both the sale of one property & the purchase of another.
From the first moment, Doug Irvine & Aaminah Ahmed were fantastic; communicative, willing to listen, never too busy to speak to us, knowledgeable & patient. They were happy to give clear advice & suggest the best course of action when requested. For the sale of our property, we were confronted with an incredibly difficult solicitor on the other side, which Doug & Aaminah managed with grace despite our collective frustrations.
10 out of 10, would certainly recommend.

If you are quietly neurodivergent this employer may not be for you.
Unfortunately my time at Lester Aldridge was underpinned by my line managers unawareness or apathy of some disabilities I had disclosed with HR that had been conveyed on. I am quietly neurodivergent and so I informed the firm of my enduring difficulties including the fatigue I experience related to my neurodivergence.
Being a young professional with little experience is a hard period to go through. I recommend seeking a different employer to those in the beginning stages of their career.
Only days before my line manager terminated my employment, I had sent her a genuine thank you note. She ignored my expression of gratitude, criticised my request to take my final day of holiday due to an unauthorised absence the previous week, and terminated my employment 2 days early.
I had not called in sick because I have a developmental disability that is famously bad at phone calls. As far as I’m aware the firm doesn’t have a way of lessening the blow if an employee suffers similarly in a mental capacity when under duress like I do.
I was not a bad employee, this was my first job role post uni, so it was not easy that my first ‘office’ level boss conveyed notes to me consistently in the negative. I have had pre graduate employment, and experience working under multiple managers yet repetitive negativity does not get any easier to endure when just trying to be a considerate employee.
If starting out in every context is challenging, there are bound to be better understanding bosses who will not criticise you so quickly, and who should acknowledge your thank you.
Amanda and Finlay advised and guided us through a complicated and difficult family situation. They helped us resolve it swiftly and fairly. They are very responsive and communications are excellent. Their fees are transparent and laid out at the start. I would recommend them unequivocally.

A complicated process of obtaining the necessary documentation from the USA to sell shares of a deceased family member was expertly managed by Hannah Harrison who explained every detail every step of a very long journey. I would have no hesitation in highly re commending her to anyone.

Michelle, Skeet and Joel were excellent in our first home purchase. They kept us up to date throughout the transaction and made a real effort to get the desired completion date.
We completed really early on the day and it helped remove a lot of the usual stress involved in moving!

My Family dealt with Olivia Singer who was acting as Executor for my Mother's estate. We are very satisfied with how the whole process was handled, right from our first contact with Olivia. She was polite and professional, explained the process and also advised us in advance of the fees that would be charged and made sure that we were content to proceed.
We are very satisfied with the way everything was managed in bringing this to a close. We would not hesitate to deal with Olivia again in the future.

I worked with Alice Robertson and Giuseppe Pingerna and I couldn't rate them more highly. Pragmatic, practical advice with a very human approach.

Giuseppe & Mia were really helpful and kind. Giuseppe explained the process clearly and gave me the confidence to actually get a divorce. And he recommended mediation which was a great idea & got a financial order. What was a very difficult time emotionally and a difficult decision, Giuseppe & Mia made the process manageable. They are a great team & I would use there services again. Although I hope I never need to, one divorce was enough for me😃

We were recommended to Lester Aldridge as a result of our sister's unexpected sudden passing. As we both live in Australia (and the estate rules are different to UK), it was crucial that the person handling our sister's estate communicated with us clearly. Olivia S (and her team) was professional and responded to our queries promptly. Our experience of this long drawn out process during an emotional time was made easier by Olivia S and her team at Lester Aldridge.
