Last time I used this company I waited for a fortnight for the box to send my glasses in, then after another week they couldn't read the prescription from the glasses,I got the prescription from spesavers, sent it in and waited for another 10 days, to recieve my glasses. I gave them a second chance,so more than a month ago I sent off my money and waited for the box which arrived eventually
then sent on glasses , got an email from poor Dan who's the only man in the country under pressure,and its going to take another fortnight if I want to continue with my order. I say grand , whatever! ,but once again I've been asked to review this company before I've got my glasses back.I'm
happy with the job lensbuild did for me last time, but they are too stressful to be dealing with! I'll be delighted if i get my glasses back from lensbuild, but I wont be using lensbuild again.

Absolutely atrocious customer service and general service. Do not use this company. Its been a month and I haven't received my glasses yet. It took 5 emails to be sent to them to get a response and whoever was emailing me was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Absolute nonsense. Once I did get an email back I still got no information as to where my glasses are or when I will receive them.

I recently used their service for my old Paul Smith sunglasses. they replaced the lenses with a new one and polarised. It took sometime, but the job was well made. I received sunglasses in a very nice package. Best service ever! just be patient if it takes longer.

I found the Lensbuild page on Facebook a few years ago and since then I've used them 3 times and all I can say is that they offer a great service and value for money. I can't see me using an optician for lenses in the future.

Ordered lenses after seeing delivery time was 3-5 working days, finally got my glasses back 7 weeks later after several phone calls and text messages (emails weren't responded to at all). When they were finally posted I received a text message saying they were en route and I would be refunded half the cost as an apology for the delay and the hassle. That was 3 weeks ago, still no refund and no answer to messages sent.
My glasses are perfect so no complaints about the product but customer service is shocking.

I’m glad I tried this service. My lenses are perfect and I saved around €150.

Very pleased with the end product, new lenses to old frame, perfect 👍.

Glasses delivered in a nice presentation box with cleaning cloth and fluid.

I would highly recommend Lensbuild for replacement lenses.

Communication could be a little better, however overall very pleased.

excellent service my sunglasses arrived as new I had kept them even though I could not wear them for the last three years Because of wear and tear on the lenses but now I can enjoy them again

Great Irish company offering excellent quality and value. Will be placing another order this week.

Took about 3 weeks once they received my frames, but communication wasn't great and chased a couple of times for an update with no response.
In the end the glasses have been shipped to my billing address rather than my shipping address so I don't have them yet.

Really excellent service. Great communication and cam really nicely packaged. Got my old lenses back as well! Delighted and would highly recommend the service.

Second order. very pleased, Saves a fortune

Easy to use. Box arrived for glasses and were returned back in the post by beautiful well presented box.
Worked out considerably cheaper than most of the many major retail shops,including the chains.
This could do for lenses what buying a mobile phone with out being attached to a set network SIM,did to mobile phone market.
Would recommend this service.

I would highly recommend Lensbuild, fast, reliable and great value service, great communication with customer, everything just worked and smoothly. The quality of the lens fitted is excellent especially given the price point. I fully intend to keep using Lensbuild.

Excellent service. I had a pair of much loved Oakley sunglasses which needed replacement lenses. Turn around was under 2 weeks and my glasses are like new! Thank you Lensbuild ❤️
