Extreme water seepage under flashings and siding

The development of Pine Arbor in Cottage Grove, MN built by Lennar Homes in 2004 has, literally, rotted out under the siding and flashings resulting in a $2.6 million dollar assessment to the residents within the community. Lennar Homes, absolutely, knows of their extremely poor workmanship and will do nothing about it given it is beyond 10 years. The problem with this is that it has not been noticed until recently because the siding and flashing has covered it all up. Water has seeped through every single unit, rotting out every balcony along with the walls between every unit. Given it is beyond the 10 year builder warranty, they believe they have no responsibility now even though the extent of major bad workmanship upfront is extremely blatant in this development and nationwide, and they are happy to know it cannot be noticed within the 10 years unless the siding and flashings are inspected prior to that time limit. Anyone with these homes should all peel back siding and flashings prior to that time to have an inspection done because, otherwise, it will not be known until after when you really have an issue.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, they are the worse builder ever!!!!
They hire ilegal labor, cheap contractors that do half ass work, and purchase cheap materials. They only pay the big $$$ in Bull Sh** advertising to hook you on to the horrible nightmare you will have after buying your home with them.
