Lemon Lumba Reviews 

We were motivated to choose LM due to their very low offer and apparent understanding of the project. They maintained regular communication over several months until we were ready to commence work.

However, from the outset, delays were frequent and signs of disorganisation became evident. Eventually, a garage was constructed but upon completion we were shocked to discover numerous issues.

The workmanship was of poor standard and some truly shocking.

Cladding was often not joined onto stud joints, with long nails protruding. Worst, large gaps were left where cladding planks were supposed to join smoothly and nails were smashing the cladding. It is difficult to comprehend how such poor workmanship could be overlooked.

Braces in the stud work infill were omitted and likewise the soffits. They claimed a shortage of wood but it is more likely that the inexperienced crew was unable to fit the soffits.

The garage builders evidently had very little experience of constructing garages. This raises questions about the accuracy of their reviews and whether the impressive photographs on their website are stock images.

UPDATE: after some back and forth - and preposterous claims about "natural shrinkage of cladding" - they willingly undertook the task of correcting poor workmanship, this time by a skilled carpenter. Most of the ill-fitted cladding on all sides was removed and new was fitted; this time correctly. (which raises the question: why didn't they use qualified people to do the work in the first place?)

Finally, we have a decent looking garage, after much effort, hassle and expense.

Awesome company. They came highly recommended. There prices are far better than there competitors. The quality of oak was outstanding. Communication 10/10. All round purchase of my gazebo made very very easy. I would not hesitate to use this fantastic company again. Tom in Blackpool

The project with Lemon Lumba had a long gestation period but George stuck with us, communicating diligently throughout the process, though I was abroad most of the time. Even when there was a small delay, beyond his control, he immediately got in touch and explained the situation and came up with a solution. Lemon Lumba did a full turnkey project i.e. planning permission, supply and build. On site the team turned up on the days and were very efficient and helpful. To top it all the finished building looks fabulous, very very happy with the finish. I would highly recommend George and the whole team.

From start to finish George guided us through the process. We live in a conservation area , so needed planning and building regs, for a 3 bay oak car port. So was a lot more complicated than we were expecting. Things took a lot longer than expected to get through, and if it wasn’t for George and the team we would have given up as there were lots of complications. We are so pleased with the end result and cannot be more happy.
I would be happy to recommend Lemon Lumba. George and the team were first class and a pleasure to deal with.

Great company. Great product. Great people. We are so delighted with our car barn. George was very attentive and Josh/Jack did a superb job with the installation. Nothing was too much trouble and the after care has been excellent too. It has had many admiring glances and we just love it. We would highly recommend Lemon Lumba.

We are near completion of our wonderful looking custom sized oak framed garage supplied by Lemon Lumba. George has been excellent with communication throughout my excruciatingly long planning and development stage of two years, and been very patient with us! Can’t fault him or the company as a whole. Delivery was quick and simple, and the build by their team of contracted out chippies was fast and to a very high standard. It is still not fully built due to building control not getting back to me in time of the build stage, and then stopping the rear wall being finished. But George thankfully sorted us out with extra cladding and fire proofing materials at a great price to complete the job over Christmas!

Overall, we're very glad we went with Lemon Lumba, and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. 5 stars from me George! Loving the new building! Looking class! Cant wait to get on with the rear extension and use you guys again.

Lemon Lumba were a great support from start to finish with our oak frame double garage project, through the planning and conservation application process to the election of the oak frame and roof. It looks great and elicits lots of admiring comments from passers by and neighbours. Thanks for a great product and result!

George and all at Lemon Lumba were fantastic to deal with and the carport we ordered looks fantastic, all of our neighbours have been round to have a close up look and are astounded by the craftsmanship. It is truly a beautiful sight. George was a great communicator with attention to every detail with any question answered promptly and in detail. I asked for the product to be delivered to Lispole,  Co Kerry, Ireland. George sorted out all of the paperwork without hesitation. It was a smooth and painless process delivering exactly what we had wanted for a very long time. George has been great and the product is excellent . It went together like clockwork and everything fitted as it should. My builder has built 2 houses for me and was full of praise for the product. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and the installation was easy to follow and pain free although the oak beams are very heavy. All good so many thanks and a gold star!

The quality of my car port is fantastic. George also sourced some equally wonderful doors and the end result is brilliant. The ongoing proactive customer service provided by George was exceptional and I’d have no problem recommending.

Lemon Lumba, came on site and from the site inspection to completion, I didn’t have a single worry. Their communication was great and their attention to detail was exemplary. They were confronted with delays caused by weather and events beyond their control but they worked later hours where they could and kept me informed every step of the way. From the site manners of their workforce and the care of their manager Mr George Toll, I had total confidence in their work and the results are amazing! Thank you.
