Your company was great with the last few claimss paid quickly now when my cat was referred to get cat scan because of upper respiratory issues found out there is cancer and she is reaching end of life, my cats claim has gone through different reps all say the same thing still reviewing, all paper submitted by two vets and myself all receipts given and and prolonged reimbursement when the total was over 2,00000 my cat is reaching end of life she was diagnosed with brain cancer which is causing distress and prolong suffering because it’s taking eeeks to read just a few papers I busted added 3 other cats and will be canceling my subscription for multiple cats and not recommending family or friends unless this claim is settled all documents sent multiple times to different representatives it’s exhausting I’m in the ins business for emergency department I need this reimbursement to pay my Care credit account so I can pay for end of life for her😡

I went with Lemonade when I adopted my cats because I was traveling within the two-week waiting window and didn't want to risk their main competitor knowing that my cats would be unsupervised for an overnight. I wish I had gone with a competitor. Lemonade claims that they will fulfill claims quickly, but they do not, and their app keeps getting worse. Now it times out and glitches every single time I try to use it to submit pet insurance claims, cannot find supporting documents that I submit, has trouble evaluating what is in the documents and seems to always require days-long back and forth with my vet, and their AI support is useless. They do have an email, though. I'm too late in the game to switch policies — by the way, they never actually alert you to policy renewals, so you can't actually change anything about the policies within your renewal window despite their claims that they send emails about it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Shame their main competitor was bought by private equity.

I have a dog. I took my dog to thew vet back in November for a rash/ allergy he had the bill was $140 but it solved my pets issue with apiculi. I paid out of pocket and thought " you know I should get pet insurance!" . its expensive to have a pet these days. I went with Lemonade pet insurance. after a few months of starting the plan. my dog got another rash, his whole body was covered inhives , he was miserable. I took him to Alta vista pet hospital. it took two visits both bills costs $500, which I paid out of pocket(my rent budget but I figured that insurance would somewhat compensate me.) I filed a claim with lemonade. sent them the paper work. after several weeks I get a request for my dogs medical history. after several more weeks and several attempts of contacting them (with no result) I get a simple answer..."denied" Pre existing? what happens if I have the flu. I start a job , get sick go to the hospital will it not be covered because I had a preexisting condition? if I break my arm insurance covers it, six months down the road its breaks again, pre existing? my dog get sick , if then gets sick again requiring meds, PRE EXISTING! what did I pay a monthly fee to lemonade for ? I thought it was for if he got sick and the bills would be off set so I would be able to pay rent. why insurance if it dont work and just finds loopholes that a scam.

Everything was exceptional from the moment I connected on the app to file my claim, Everything was wonderful, best experience I ever had filing a claim, was so easy and then when u submit and get notice that saying it was accepted and your money was wired transferred already I could not believe it, and then next dayy money was there, wow lemonade is amazing !
