Concern Regarding Lack of Support During Apartment Rental Process
After I told the person who showed me the apartment that I wanted to rent it, I did not receive a helpful response to any of my questions or requests. For example, two similar apartments were available at the same time: one with three rooms and one with four. The agent only had access to the three-room apartment. He suggested a date to view the four-room apartment, but I was not available, and he could not offer any alternative dates. As a result, I had to make my decision after seeing only the three-room apartment.
After I sent a confirmation email stating that I wanted to rent the four-room apartment, I asked by message whether I could see the apartment I would be renting before signing the contract. He said that after my confirmation email there was no longer any need to show the apartment to the current tenants, and he could not arrange another viewing. Although I do not think this is normal, I accepted it and signed the contract.
Afterwards, since I rented the apartment without seeing it, I asked whether there was a scaled floor plan. I will be buying furniture and I need measurements, but he said there was no scaled plan and dismissed the request. He was not helpful in any way. Now I will have to buy furniture based on estimates, and I hope it will fit.
