Great after sales service

Leeva fitted a new boiler for us. There was a problem with some of the pipework left in from the previous boiler (not fitted by Leeva) which wasn't obvious to start with. Leeva came back and changed the pipework free of charge. Highly recommended.

New utility waste

We contacted Leeva through Checkatrade to fit an under-floor waste pipe for our utilities (Washing machine, dishwasher, etc).
Hayden came to give us an estimate on the job, and the final price was pretty close to that estimate.
Hayden and Hubert came to do the job, and they were very courteous and polite. Hayden's copper work was very well done and he responded very well when the job had to be changed slightly.
We've had nothing but good things to say about them since they've done the work, and we'd happily invite them back in the future.

Your reply is an incorrect account of the true facts.

I have had leeva come out to replace a thermastat on a radiator that they had fitted on a previous visit. A 30mim job I thought. Well hadn't got the right parts, then when they had when changing the stat
they let the spillage from the radiator spill onto my carpet and a beige duvet cover which the stains won't come out.
Then they denied fitting the first thermostat told me another company had fittered it and charged me for a replacement and over 2 hrs work.
They havnt done any think to get the stains out of my perfect carpet ( till they came). There answer claim on my insurance???
The admin department tell lies and the person sent to do the work tells lies. They overcharge and don't do a good job.
The only satisfaction I got was delaying payment, and I'm still waiting for a receipt for my payment.

When our engineer attended to change the stat, the customer advised her that we had fitted the stat earlier this summer and therefore she expected it to be changed under warranty. When we could not find any record of having been to the property this summer, we rang the customer to gather further information. We advised her that the last time we had done any work at her property was in the summer of 2020, so if she had had the stat fitted this summer, then it must have been by another company. (At no time did we tell her that another company had fitted it. We were trying to get to the bottom of when it actually was fitted.) When she insisted that we had fitted it when we serviced the boiler, we again stated that the last time we serviced the boiler was 2020 not 2021 and we had not charged her for a stat on that invoice, so it must have been done without charge - a goodwill gesture. We therefore charged for a replacement, as the stat had been fitted for over a year with no problems. With regard to the spillage, we have been back to the property twice to try and remove the stain, which we agree has not come out completely but the customer had appeared satisfied by our attempts to rectify the situation. Our staff do not tell lies. We have had lengthy correspondence with this customer, both by letter and by email, setting out the history of the transaction and why we made a charge. We have hundreds satisfied customers and many 5 star reviews (e.g. on Checkatrade). We take our customer service reputation seriously and strive to do a good job for all of our customers. We appreciate that the customer did pay the invoice eventually. The delay in her receiving a receipt was due to the fact that we always wait until customer cheques have cleared before sending receipts. A receipt was sent at that time.

Untrustworthy

Lee (leavas owner) visited us, viewed the radiator and valves we wanted fitted to our existing system and gave us a price (£330 for a 4 hour job). When the workmen came they said the valves weren’t the right ones !? They they took 8 hours to complete the job, initially drilling holes in the wrong place. We were then invoiced for £480. When I questioned this I was told Lee was an experienced plumber of 20 years .. but ... this job was more complicated than first thought... Lee planned the job, not sure how (by their own words) a plumbed of 20 years gets it so wrong !! Workmen also lied and said they had to move furniture when they didn’t as if moved everything required .. so their explanation was that it took 4 extra hours to patch up two wrongly drilled holes in brick work, drill two new ones, and move a bed (which was a lie). Don’t trust this firm of over charging lying cowboys.

We have not responded to this review earlier, as the reviewer had also left a similar review on the Checkatrade website. We were not aware of this separate review on Trustpilot. Here is our response to the Checkatrade review at the time. "Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry you feel our customer service was less than satisfactory as this is paramount to us. As you are aware, the job was more complicated than originally realised. At the point of our engineer discovering this, you were advised that the job would take considerably longer. You verbally authorised the extra work. We have already contacted you and resolved this issue to a suitable outcome for yourself and brought the matter to a conclusion. Once again, sorry that you feel we have been less than 100% with our customer service. We strive to be the best and our previous reviews reflect this"

Boiler loss of pressure

Leeva came to fix our boiler as it was losing all pressure 4 times a day. The plumber diagnosed in less than 10 minutes and came back the same day with the correct part and fixed the loss of pressure. Thank you so much!

I needed an unvented cylinder installed…

I needed an unvented cylinder installed which involved a lot of plumbing work which made us a little nervous. The Leeva team achieved a fantastic result. Professional, timely, willing to sort out incidental plumbing issues I had whilst in the house and left us feeling that we had 100% made the right choice selecting Leeva. Thoroughly recommend them!
