Learn Voice Acting Reviews

Joe is awesome! I looked at a few of these coaching programs, but I felt that the energy and humor in his ads were right up my alley. Then I also found out he voiced a VeggieTales character (kids love the movie) and I knew it was the right fit. Thankfully, I was right! He is enthusiastic, informative, no bs, and makes sure you know that hustle is THE key ingredient to success!

I was skeptical at first because there are many other places that offer voice acting training and I believed that Learn Voice Acting was something I could get behind and I'm glad I did!

I've learned quite a bit about voice acting that would take me a long time to figure out. Not only that, there is also a community here to help you with any problems and a mountain of resources to help make sure you got what you need to succeed (also you have access to most of that stuff for life!)

If someone were to ask me about voice acting and how they can learn more about it, I would point them here because there is a lot to learn.

Joe is incredibly passionate about sharing his knowledge and creating a warm welcoming environment where new and seasoned voice actors can all grow.

If there's a tiny spot in your heart that longs to be creative, then I encourage you to experience Joe Zieja's world of voice acting.

Joe's course gave me a well-rounded introduction to the world, art and industry of voice acting, and introduced me to a whole community of like-minded folks. It taught me what I needed to get started, and showed me how and where to find the resources I would need - but also provided many resources I hadn't anticipated needing. Joe and his team are concerned that every student get the most out of what they offer, and will do everything they can to help you learn and grow.

A lot of great content and Joe is a great teacher!

Starting out something that began only as an interest is always the most intimidating thing anyone can ever do, especially when you don't have the confidence to keep moving forward. The content provided in these courses not only gave me the knowledge I needed, but the confidence that this is something I can do too.

Having these courses as a resource, and one that I can review again at any point in my life, is an indispensable tool that I can keep in my back pocket.

This course was the best starting point for someone with no experience such as myself.

I am an absolute beginner with ZERO background or knowledge in Voice Over Work. I needed something that had everything in 1 spot that built a solid foundation. Trying to look around and find reputable information on things i know nothing about was an impossible task for me, because I “Didn’t know, what I didn’t know”, so how do you ask questions or find that information that you NEED to know? This course was the answer for me. The course is great and the community is even better!

Don’t hesitate, if your considering it, just jump in and join because you won’t regret it!

The academy gave a comprehensive overview of everything you need to get started, with a specific focus on how to go from being completely uninvolved to taking your first steps in the field. It contains what your first steps should be, some of the pitfalls you want to avoid, where to look to book jobs, and essential knowledge that you will be expected to possess (including both the electronics and the vocals necessary).

Joe Zieja's Learn Voice Acting course was a great introduction to voice acting-- not only techniques, but the technical and business aspects of the field as well.

The content was delivered in short videos (under 10 minutes each), which is great for learning in bite-sized chunks, which is great for fitting into a busy schedule.

I cannot sing enough praises for this course! When I say "I'm just starting out", I cannot express just how little (zero) I knew about the VO industry, let alone all the ins and outs of casting websites, gear, the auditioning and demo process, I KNEW NOTHING! After finishing this course, the first thing I'm going to do is go back and do it again... This course made taking the first step in the industry so less scary. Thank you 500 times.

This course is great at demystifying the voice over industry. As a beginning voice actor I found the information super useful and approachable. Definitely worth the money spent.

I am committed to going full-time in VO, and this program is great for the true beginner. I thought I was just going to get a couple of lessons and tips on how to get started in this industry.

This is an exhaustive course, and it really breaks down everything you "Need" to know to get started. From your mentality to how to start your business.

I wasn't expecting this level of service and knowledge. Again, for the new beginner, this is where you start.

Joe also tells you to go slow and smooth. This takes time, and it is an investment. This is not a fly by night couse and you actually have to put in the work. Joe tells you that in the beginning.

If you are serious about succeeding in the VO industry. invest in this first.

Joe Zieja’s Voice Acting Academy is a game-changer! The content is insightful, practical, and engaging, making complex concepts easy to understand. Joe’s teaching style is both motivating and down-to-earth, providing real-world knowledge that’s immediately applicable. JZVAA gives you a great foundation to getting into the VO business. The course provides abundant information from establishing a home studio, different genres of VO, and the auditioning process. Glad that you continue to have access to this information forever and not have to pay monthly. Additionally, he provides plenty of resources for you to continue on this journey with personal individuals he has worked with. He really connects with you and empowers you to continue on this path.

A step by step process of a professional voice actor's journey from no experience. The course has info on life advice, time management and skills that will help outside of voice action.

I’ve broken into the voice acting scene about 2 years ago now. I’ve taken course after course, webinar after webinar, any opportunity to sign up & listen to VA lectures, I’ve taken advantage of. Not a SINGLE one has compared to or covered as much knowledge, SOLID guidance & given beneficial tools as Joe Zieja’s Voice Acting Academy. Absolutely credible education, coaches & advice. I will proclaim from the roof tops how much this program has enlightened me & gotten me in front of the mic to turn my Voice into my Vocation! <3

Joe and his team are very wonderful people who are sincere in helping those unable to find their footing in the voice over world. They are honest and upfront, not selling false hopes or pipe dreams. The cost may seem high to some but when you take into account what they're giving you it's less than what it should be.

This program ignited hope and passion for this career. Joe really organized this industry into information for everyone to have access and pursue their dreams in Voice Acting. I wouldn’t be where I am without this program, and I'm doing something I love - which has granted me so many opportunities!

I joined a while back when it was still known as Joe Zieja's Voice Acting Academy. I have been very happy with the content and the community! I feel like I have learned so much already, and the knowledge is so deep and varied that I return to it often. The community experience has only improved with time, and they keep introducing new content regularly!
