Thought I had signed up for one week…
Thought I had signed up for one week and then discovered monthly deductions from my account of £34.90. I did not sign up for the "premium service" but as the Lawdistrict has my card details I assume that they just helped themselves. Interesting to note that you can only ring them at the weekends. (Based in the US?)

This outfit is a scam
This outfit is a scam. They charged me a small amount for an employment contract and then a few weeks later they took a further £34.90 from my debit card without my authority. Now they won't answer emails or give me the money back they stole from me.
Keep away from these thiefs.
Just seen their response & there is no way that any subscription was detailed and if it was it would have been in the smallest print and craftily hidden. Looking back through other reviews it's obvious many other people have fallen victim to their scam.

A scam
Fraudulent advertising of a very inexpensive legal form template, after paying you then receive an email saying you have signed up for a subscription of ~£35 per month. I went to ‘my account’ on the website and cancelled immediately. Also posted a warning on Facebook.
After receiving a response in which it was claimed that the subscription was ‘clearly stated’ - well I am not an idiot and I did not see it - I wanted to add that at the payment stage there is a rather unpleasant little window counting down from 5 minutes remaining, after which presumably your payment is aborted and all the hard work of completing the form could be lost…
This operation is predicated on two fundamental truths of social psychology, firstly that when people have put effort into an activity which they have chosen, in this instance filling in the legal form, they are extremely persistent, and secondly that anything which is becoming scarce or unavailable, in this instance the opportunity to complete payment, increases in value, and is therefore pursued with escalating effort.

I had a very positive experience with…
I had a very positive experience with LawDistrict. After registering and using the service, I decided I no longer needed my subscription. The cancellation process was clear, simple, and completed without any issues. In contrast to many companies that make it difficult to cancel subscriptions, LawDistrict handled the process professionally and transparently. Based on my experience, I would recommend their service to anyone looking for a company that treats customers fairly, even when they choose to cancel.
