Latesail used to be excellent but seemed to have lost focus. Based on my last charter with them they now seem to show little interest in the standards of the charter company that they engage or the views of the customer.

We have booked a number of charters with LateSail over the years - their flexibility and understanding to find a good and fair solution during the all the cancellations during the Covid shutdowns was excellent. This is on top of what is a well informed (at least about Greece!) and patient service to help us find the right charter.

Wonderful experience using LateSail, they arranged a wonderful charter for me and my children and grandchildren in the British Virgin islands for half term. I would gladly recommend the every time.

Called today to enquire about a charter in August in the Greek Island and spoke to an unhelpful unfriendly person who when l asked basic questions l was obviously a nuisance . I said you seem to find this hard work and then just she hung up . So l was right ! Never had that before . Not a great endorsement.

We have chartered with LS 15+ times this years experience was very poor
They tried to upsell on a booking which was deferred from 2020. Customer service has always been good but not in 2021 despite the mantra that they value customer loyalty - I don't think so! We missed out on several options as the information was sent to the wrong e mail
On calling the office to follow up on booking I was treated very rudely by someone and told there are only 2 people working there and the guy we were dealing with was sick so basically hard luck.

We chartered in Greece/ Lavrion and booked the boat through LS with an Austrian Co called pitter. Turned out this was a sub sub sub charter through a 3rd and 4th party then further with a private owner in a completely different marina to the one we were told we needed to go to
The boat equipment was good ie navigation, sails etc but the interior was scruffy and dirty and ill equipped with a filthy stove and galley, rusty kitchen tools , burnt galley stove cover , torn upholstery on the saloon seats , the irony of this was we had to pay €130 end cleaning for something that was not clean to start with and with no evidence of sanitising on pick up. Additionally the owner tracked us for 2 weeks without asking our permission im not sure how legal that is we only realised when we started receiving SMS' from him
The harbour where we had to spend the first night has a nightclub opposite which plays techno music REALLY loud til 2am followed by the local teens blasting music from their cars til 5am
We have always had a really good experience with LS and I have recommended them to many friends ....no more
I waited a week for confirmation that our deposit had been unblocked I'm sure there will not be a long wait to respond to a complaint

Hopefully you will read this before considering LateSail and booking in Lavrion very disappointing we won't use them again. Think twice folks

I've only been through the selection and booking process, which I have largely done in conversation with Lynn - so far the experience has been personal, helpful and reassuring - the pre-sail portal seems up to scratch too - it builds confidence and I'm sure the yacht itself will be just as described.

Absolutely brilliant service, yet again. I have been booking with Nic, Russell, Lynn, Sue and the team for the last 10 years and have always been impressed. Knowledge of the charter areas, introductions to other team members who know a charter area best, knowledge of the yachts and fleets. Time invested into finding suitable options (and actually thinking about them properly, unlike some other operators), with options and pricing (including extras) very clearly laid out. And finally, second to none service during very difficult covid times, with assistance re-booking a charter which was not possible at the last minute due to changes in restrictions. My wife and I cannot thank you enough - it meant we were able to enjoy a brilliant holiday which would not have otherwise been possible in these difficult times!

Charter to Turkey cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice! Latesail (Nic and Russell) worked really hard to find another boat, worked with me to find flights, got everything arranged in just a few hours, we flew the next day and had a fantastic holiday in Greece. I dont know how they did it, thanks from me and all the crew. Mg Yachting were delightfull to deal with, could not be more supportive and accommodating. THANKS!

Booking is always easy with them and Lynn found out all the local information we needed in Thailand before we booked.
