I like the international reach, it is special, people can chat with people from different countries and it makes everything more interesting and gives you a feeling that you might actually meet someone who fits you, even if they live far away. So far I’m really enjoying it and I’m glad I decided to try this.

LatAmour is not a dating-website. Aim of dating website should bring people together, to support that they meet in real life, isn't it? But LatAmour actually applies quite questionable rules on what two members have to have achieve before they are allowed(!) to exchange private data:

1) Common agreement (fine), 2) spend the equivalent of 5000 credits on chat or other functions the website provides, and 3) apply to customer support to exchange private data after passing a verification process

With respect to 2) I need to emphasize that 5000 credits is pretty much the equivalent of the money a senior citizen receives per month from the state's pension insurance in my country. A country which is known to a state with good welfare and also being the third largest national economy in the world. So we talk about quite a lot of money! Also, to provide some other comprehensible comparison, the equivalent time you would need to spend just chatting is more than 40 hours to consume those 5000 credits....

With respect to 3) it is note that no details of the process shared by customer support. So even if you spend those 5000 credits (which I didn't) next barriers may pop up.

Ok, questionable rules, but what about the women I chatted with? Are they real as I am? In the beginning hard to say, later on it becomes obvious. The opening questions (and one get lots of them!) are not always driving into explicit topics right away, but sooner or later it goes there every time. And then pictures are shared (if not already in the profiles) that do often show different woman. I was able to backtrack some pictures to escorts in Asia or Columbia, prostitutes in Russia, webcam-sites for shemales, or instagram bloggers. When pointing this out in a chat, the IQ of the woman claiming a doctor, a lawyer or other profession which you can not run with a minimum of education, drops to zero. So I consider them actually all as fake! And the report button one is asked to bring (scam, fake) profiles to the attention of LatAmour are, from my point of view, just a mean to enhance the quality of the fake profiles.
There are other strong indications that LatAmour is purely fake, but I like not to share in order not to support LatAmour is further improving their website. There must be chance for those not reading this review.

Finally, did I met probably just the wrong women? Well, probably yes, probably no. But this is not relevant because of the non officially published rules LatAmour is applying for exchanging private data is pretty much demonstrating what each member is supposed to do here: spend money to the only benefit of LatAmour. But who ever may read the review may feel free to drive other conclusions.

I expect LatAmour to respond here. Safety, User Guidelines and all this stuff. But, at the end, they can not deny the ridiculous and moral-wise questionable rules they apply for exchanging private data – I have their responses stored in my email-inbox.

I created a profile with no photos or description, and yet the "women" say they like it and that we have a lot in common. It's clear the site is a scam. Furthermore, the responses I've read are generated by AI. The "Company" will probably reply to this email with the same phrases they've used with other customers.

I just spent 21.85 on getting credits, but as soon as I tried to reply to someone,it said that I was low on credits,plz make that make sense,& since I’m not paying anymore,how do I go about getting refunded, this site is a joke,& a scam

It is very expensive and each message you send cost coins. If you are on any dating app make sure to read what the cost is. Find an app with unlimited messages that has a monthly or weekly fee. Also look for an app that lets you view the women before you purchase anything. If the women just want to message and you are not available to have them send you a photo holding up a spoon in hand question the website. On some of the websites I have been on they get offended when you ask them to send the photo. Just be careful not to get scammed. Also if you are not able to meet in person and they just want to stay on the website that is a red flag. Meet in a public place also.

Highly suspect. I was immediately inundated with contact requests, which is both gratifying and laughably indicative of either simply AI bots being employed to entice those on the site to spend money for “spicy” pictures. These pictures (and accounts, realistically) could ALL now simply be AI generated.

I presume were I a woman stumbling into this honey-pot that the experience would be had same. Hunky looking dudes all eager to get to know you, safely from around the world!

Maybe the site should simply be called “le catfish?”
