Product is good beware of scam
I wish I could give 0. My La Roche-Posay order arrived with missing items. I contacted them multiple times via phone, chat, and email to resolve this. They denied my refund claim, falsely accusing me of having made a previous claim for missing items. I immediately requested proof of this alleged previous claim. They failed to provide any evidence whatsoever to support their accusation. I have never previously ordered from La Roche-Posay, let alone filed any claim with them. This accusation is completely false, unsubstantiated, and deeply concerning. Their phone support redirects to the USA and was unhelpful. Their chat option was blocked with advertisements and I was unable to send any messages. Despite my genuine and repeated efforts to resolve this directly with the merchant, they have made it impossible to reach them and refused to provide any proof for their denial. I am left with no choice but to escalate this dispute.
Really horrible customer service
Really horrible customer service. UPS damaged my package I got multiple contradicting emails and then had phone calls with La Roche Posay to get my money back. Their customer service people are incompetent and can't resolve any issues. CS manager asked me to send screenshots of UPS emails to get refund. Why? I didn't even initiate the return, UPS damaged the package and sent it right back to LRP even before it reached my address!! So horrible.
“I Trusted This Brand — But It Doesn’t Travel With Me”
I’m currently living in the United States and have been trying to find one of my favorite products from your Brazilian line: the Anthelios Ultra Cover SPF 60 – High Coverage Tinted Sunscreen, in shade 3.0.
This product is perfect for my skin — it offers excellent sun protection while also working as a foundation with truly high coverage. The texture is rich, and the finish is flawless, just like makeup.
I’ve tried the Light Cover version, but unfortunately, I didn’t like it — the coverage is too thin and doesn’t give the result I’m looking for. What I love about the Ultra Cover is exactly that fuller texture and makeup-like effect.
Since I moved to the U.S., I haven’t been able to find this exact version — not in stores, not online.
I would love to continue using this same product and the same shade (3.0). Could you kindly let me know:
– Is this product sold in the U.S. under a different name?
– If not, is there any way I can purchase it from here (via international shipping, for example)?
– And if it’s not available here, is there any U.S.-based product that truly offers the same level of high coverage and performance?
One thing I find puzzling is that, in such a diverse country like the United States — with people from all ethnic backgrounds and skin tones — the range of tinted shades is more limited than in Brazil. I would have expected more diversity here, not less.
The world is highly globalized today — people no longer spend their entire lives in the same country. We travel, we take sabbatical years, we relocate constantly.
That’s why, when a brand presents itself as international — like La Roche-Posay — it becomes essential to offer the same products worldwide.
With global brands like Chanel, Dior, Sisley, or Saint Laurent, I can buy the exact same makeup products whether I’m in Brazil, the U.S., or anywhere else. That kind of consistency shows a truly international standard — and it’s something I expected from La Roche-Posay as well.
Why all of a sudden Alcohol Denat in every SPF?!
For the love of God please stop putting alcohol in your sunscreens!!! It is impossible to find one sunscreen in Europe without insane amounts of denaturated alcohol in them and for people who are sensitized to it, it is horrible. I used to love your Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid Spf50+, but ever since you had to put alcohol in it it started to ruin my skin. Every time I use this thing I get cystic acne on my cheeks and white heads on my nose and forehead. I know for certain it is from this product because when I do not use it my skin goes back to normal. Please, fix this issue, or I won't be able to ever buy a sunscreen from you again.
Terrible Customer Service Dept
This review is about the customer service. The agent is in a room that is very loud you can't even hear what they are saying and knows nothing on hand about the products without looking it up. This is a skincare company, hire and train knowledgable people. Fine example of corporate greed.
Dose amazon accept your invice
Hi. la Roche-posay
Dose amazon accept your invice
Great facial moisturizers!
I bought their double repair facial moisturizer and the matte moisturizer and I love them! Not greasy and provides the best coverage for my combination skin!
Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service. They refused to rectify a mistake which the ‘customer care’ team admitted was their fault and this continued through every aspect of the purchase. It was like beating one’s head against a brick wall. I await a refund and would never shop on this site again.
Horrible Customer Service
I decided to go straight to La Roche-Posay to purchase their products. I used my iPhone and paid via Apple Pay. As I saw the order being confirmed, I noticed the shipping address was an old one, even though the billing address is correct. I immediately called customer service, not even 5 minutes after the order was placed. First of all, the "PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH" option doesn't work if you use a mobile phone. I immediately used my office landline to call. The customer service told me there's NOTHING she can do. She can't change the address, she can't cancel the order and let me place a new one. So, I'm being charged, knowing I may not even receive the products that were purchased. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she refused. Granted, I made a mistake. But, other companies will help you by updating the order info OR cancel it and let you place another order. I work for an e-com company that will help you with your orders and I know other companies that do the same. It's called customer service and being graceful about human error. None of us is perfect and we can all use a little room to correct ourselves.
Use them daily
Can't say anything bad about the brand. These products had been thoroughly tested before being released in the market, and what I cherish most - a big diversity of products for different purposes. You can emulsions, classical moisturizers, or if you have an oily skin, there are products for this type, too.
I have a dry one, so their moisturizer pretty much suit me.
LRP seems to be the market giant in case of skin care.
Website on iPhone doesn’t work. Useless customer “service”
Website on iPhone doesn’t work. They trick you to the website by offering 20% off, then charge your visa ( multiple times in my case) without the order ever going through. A website message pops up saying your card is invalid, yet the charge goes through on your card. The site asks for your mailing address, yet won’t let you input it. Customer service people have no skills to help and also provide incorrect info and just keep repeating useless phrases. No supervisor was available, even after waiting over 40 minutes.
La Roche-Posay made my wish come true…
The La Roche-Posay line is known for their amazing dermatologist approved products. For my skin being oily, dry, and acne prone, all I wanted was to have products that actually take away my acne and make my skin look perfect. La Roche-Posay did exactly what I was wishing for.
Within the first week of consistent use, I noticed my skin much more moisturized and less broken out. The second week I noticed the oiliness had calmed down and my acne really calmed down. And now, I am continuing this routine in hopes it will keep working its magic!! Thanks La Roche-Posay for fulfilling my dream.
Toleriane sensitive fluid
I have been buying the Toleriane sensitive fluid for years and it has always been great.
However, the presentation has changed and unfortunately, the content too.
This is not a great moisturiser anymore, it’s like applying water to your skin, I have to reapply it during the day, or my skin is completely dry.
Won’t be buying anymore
Good creams for the skin
Great products!
One of my favorite brands so far! The Cica Blast Moisturizer is definitely one of LRP best creation. I didn’t have a good experience with the vitamin C though and most of my friends and relatives had the same experience.
Website is a Con
I ordered a moisturizer from their website and they added a free sample to the order. When I received the order, guess what? No moisturizer - only the free sample. They charged me $6 shipping for the free sample and about 50 cents in tax. Tax on what? the FREE SAMPLE?? I tried to contact them - No Answer. Definitely don't order on their site! Seems like they do some version of a bait and switch.
Black Friday misleading promotions
Black Friday misleading promotions
Received an email with a promotion ahead of Black friday stating 30% discount on products and free offer of 2 products. On the email the code to apply on checkout for having the discount was the SAME to received the products on offer. Made the order 20/11/2021 applied the code, the discount of 30% was applied but couldn't choose which offer I wanted. Sent an email to customer services saying what happened on checkout and advising the offer I would prefer. Received an answer 3 days later saying if I was not happy with the products I receive to return them. Received the order and of course no offers included. Contacted today the customer services and they keep saying when I ordered there were no offer products available on stock hence I did not receive them, however this morning I received another email advertising the Black friday promotion with all the offers there again!!. This is misleading customers, making them buy for nothing. Called c.services again who say I used the wrong code for the offers, I explained more than once that I made the order 1 week in advance of black friday and had only one code to use and could send a snapshot of the email to prove it. They kept saying they apologise but couldn't do anything. This is not how you treat and keep customers. Its the 3rd time I don't receive a sample or offer. 1st time I just accepted the fact but this time was completely unfair as I followed their own procedures. Besides answering that if i'm not happy I can returned them, having to pay for the return is just not acceptable. C. services say it is a free return however the Return note specifically says they will not refund for returning the goods. And they asked me if I received a "Thank you card" which I did not. I am usually tolerant with mistakes but this time I feel cheated and not respected. Not buying La Roche Posay again !
These cremes are amazing
These cremes are amazing. They are very effective. I do like using them.
Too Many Cons
Don't buy from La Roche-Posay's official website. Buy it from a brick-and-mortar retail store or other online vendors.
1. Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it - even if you ordered just minutes ago. They force you to ship it back to them first.
2. Order Tracking system is "not currently available." It seems to be broken for months now, and La Roche-Posay hasn't bothered to fix it to improve customers' shopping experience.
3. Sign up for an account before checking out! La Roche-Posay won't tell you how to save money. Members get free shipping after spending over a certain amount. Their website doesn't mention free shipping for having an account until AFTER you place an order, or decided to create one before checking out. Shady business practice.
4. Check out other La Roche-Posay websites for other countries/regions. You'll find that the reviews are just as bad, if not worse, than this one. It highly reflects their business practices.
I've heard great things about their sunscreens, but I regret buying them through this website.
Shopping at a third party website will be much better!
They are horrible
They are horrible. 2 min after my purchase I wanted to cancel it and they did not allow it. I have to receive and send the package back. It took more than 30 days from the date of the delivery for them to process my refund. Luckily, I have returned the package by UPS. I had to call them with the UPS tracking number to be able to receive my refund and when they finally found my package I received a partial refund. Now, they are falsely claiming that one product was not returned. So disappointed, I thought they were a serious brand.
