  1. Logistics Service

Written by the company

LapDrop takes the headache out of managing laptops for Canadian remote teams. We handle the full device lifecycle - deployment, retrieval, and end-of-life - so you don't have to. Here's how it works. Need to get a laptop to a new hire across the country? We ship it. Someone leaving the team? We send a kit, they pack up the device, and Canada Post brings it back to us. When a machine reaches the end of its life, our Recycle service routes it to a certified Canadian electronics recycler, complete with a certificate of destruction and the option to donate to charity. The best part is the pay-per-use model. No subscriptions, no minimums, no warehouse fees sitting on your books. You only pay when you actually need to move a device. Everything runs on the Canada Post network, so coverage reaches wherever your people are. For small and growing teams without a dedicated IT department, this is a clean way to stay organized and compliant without hiring for it. Setup is simple and the process just works. If you have a remote team and laptops to manage, give LapDrop a try. We make the logistics disappear so you can focus on running your business.

Seamless offboarding logistics and fantastic customer support

We recently started using lapdrop.ca to handle laptop collections for our offboarding employees, and the experience has been completely flawless. The entire end-to-end workflow, from initiating the shipment request, to the employee getting the box, the automated reminders, and the final delivery back to our HQ, went perfectly without a single hitch.

What really impressed us, though, was how responsive their team is. We needed a few specific tweaks to fit our internal processes, and they quickly implemented features like adding purchase order (PO) numbers, routing invoices to dedicated accounting email addresses, and allowing multiple team members onto the account. This has dramatically streamlined our workflows across our IT, finance, and logistics departments.

Price-wise, it's incredibly competitive. When you factor in the time and hassle of managing shipping labels, boxes, and chasing down former employees yourself (or using other bloated enterprise tools), Lapdrop is a no-brainer. Highly recommended for any team managing remote assets.

Lapdrop is a time saver!

Before we started using Lapdrop, getting equipment back from remote employees was always a pain. Chasing people down, shipping boxes, creating labels, and hoping everything made it back took way more time than it should have.

Now they handle the whole process. They send the boxes, include the shipping labels, coordinate the return, and get the equipment back to us. It’s made our offboarding process so much easier and has saved me a lot of time.

If your company has remote employees and you’re tired of dealing with equipment returns yourself, I’d definitely recommend giving Lapdrop a look.
