i wish that i could put zero stars there is one teacher in specifec that has been getting many complaints such as racist comments on other student such as saying racial slurs including the n word which she said to a studet named tremel wilson last year 2022 this year she has been known to threaten student by color to fight them/call the police one them and told them that she would love to see them work at mcdonalds this teacher is known to be rebbeca weaver lansing michigan

Staff and Teachers are top notch. Caring and know how to go the extra mile.

They are doing their best during this covid mess to step up to the plate and serve the kids.

Need more stability on the teachers staff so the kids have a better education

I love the school, the staff is great and helpful.

LCA has an amazing staff, that truly care about the students and their learning environment.

I highly recommend this school. My children love it here. And it shows in their relationships with peers, and staff.

Communication is easy, and encouraged with all staff members.

My wife and I are highly satisfied with the curriculum and our children's learning experience, as well as the friendships they have made.

My son loves going to this school and he loves the learning techniques they use in the classrooms.

I love Lansing Charter Academy! My son has been going there for 3 years and the teachers and administrators are great. I really like the principle Mr. Ward. He is always encouraging and positive but also takes no nonsence and the kids know this. He is always available if not immediately then sometime the next day. My only complaint is my son has had 4 teachers quit during the school year (the teacher and her aide in Young 5 and 2 teachers in 1st grade) . Consistency is always good for kids so those changes were a little inconvenient.

Teachers/staff aren't involved in after school and evening activities as much as other schools we've attended. It would be nice to see a representative from the school team, not just the Board, at functions. Overall, our experiences with teachers has been fine, none have been terrible, none have been spectacular, my child comes home still excited to do homework, read and learn in general. Sometimes material could be more challenging, especially if requested by the student to be.

I have a Kindergartner and a 6th grader at LCA. I have always appreciated how dedicated LCA was to their students. The teachers and support staff at LCA encourage excellence AT ALL TIMES. It is fascinating to see the different interactions that occur daily. I prefer educational approaches that include positive reinforcement and unconditional support, and LCA has that in the bag! Keep up the great work LCA!
