Three deliveries to get a desk dammaged

Three deliveries to get a desk, always damaged packages, damaged desk, torn wood, systematic refusal to refund me, each time they send a new package that arrives in the same condition, it's a shame, compensation gift that never arrives, I want a refund, this has been going on for four months.

I purchased a product advertised as…

I purchased a product advertised as MARBLE. It was actually completely made from restructured wood AND one plank was PAINTED marble.
I have spent many, MANY hours sendings email, to whiich I get NO sensible replies. BEWARE. DO NOT PATRONISE THESE CHEATS.

Absolutely garbage

This is nothing like the image, came in a tatty box, cheap material absolute garbage, took 2 months to get here, anyone ordering I would suggest you avoid like the plaque, go down to the nearest pound shop ask for a wooden crate and use that, it would be better quality.

Desk shelves

The shelving arrived intact. It took almost 4 weeks to arrive. Directions could have been a little clearer on assembly, but I love the way they look over the Pine desk.

Well worth the wait

I knew from reading the shipping policy that the delivery was going to be long and it was.

I was advised of the date a
couple of months and it arrived in the time frame and very well packaged.It was a mission to open the package but there was no damage

The instructions were pictures only but it worked and I built on my own.

I love my shelves on wheels. It's exactly what i wanted and fits in with the white kitchen I have . Everyone is impressed with it and think it's a great idea not realising it's not part of the new kitchen.

It was going to cost me over a $1000 to get one in the kitchen and this cost under $400

TIPS
add some cushioned tape to the top and bottom so the side of another cabinet is not damaged
The small plastic clips that the screws are pushed into need to have the lips taken off to make the shelves sturdy

As described

As described. It’s very sturdy and I had to touch it up a little bit with paint when I put it together. The price was right and it’s comfortable to sit on. I would buy from them again, but you have to be patient. It takes a while to get the product.

Update on my previous review and a tip to others.
I was able to get a refund for the damaged goods via my credit card company RBS.

Lakiq will try all sorts to avoid a refund. Given them one chance to refund (your credit card company will need to know you tried) and then claim off your credit card provider if you used one. Very straightforward

One item is till missing nearly 3 months after order.

Chinese crap!!!!

We ordered a huge cabinet and spent $1,500 AUS. Took over 6 weeks to arrive one part came the other two parts took 3 weeks later 😣.

My husband had to email for instructions. Niwcresfing reviews I see it's a common problem. Finally putting it together pannekd are scratched and bowed. Quality is absolutely horrid. I'm so sad as it's going in my living room I have to look at it. Cheap SHIT!!!!!!!

I ordered a product expecting delivery…

I ordered a product expecting delivery within 30-44 days. After the timeframe expired I received an email that the item was “disposed of” and they offered a replacement at no charge and “free” gifts haha. I politely declined and asked for a refund. They are only offering 80% refund…why when it was not my fault and I don’t want to wait another 2 months to see if I’ll get the item. All I can say is DONT order from this company….SCAM…and if I could give them a zero star rating I would have.

The delivery was over a month late

The delivery was over a month late. The cabinet was very dirty with adhesive residue from the manufacturing process. The pre-drilled holes for the door were missing, so we had to drill them ourselves. The combination lock is backwards. Everything is cheaply made. The assembly instructions were missing. I would gladly file a complaint. I will never order from you again.

Do not shop from this site.

I bought a table only to realise (10 minutes thereafter) the estimated delivery was between 40-50 days. I contacted their customer service to cancel my order, which was placed 10 minutes ago. They have charged me 17 pounds as "handling fee". Robbery!

Avoid. Do not buy.

Ordered a desk from here for ~£220. It took two months to arrive to the UK and when it did arrive, the box was absolutely battered with very little padding inside to protect the product. Once opened, the quality of the item was absolutely terrible. It had dents, scrapes and marks on almost every part. The quality of metal was cheap and easily bent when tightening bolts. The left leg is wonky. The tolerance on the parts are horrendous. There were metal burrs left on which caused cuts and injuries when unpacking. The tack welds on the product are awful, and some welding is missing completely! To top it off, there were no instructions either.

When I approached the company about the issues, they did respond promptly and asked for photos- they also require photos of the shipping lable by the way, so good thing that i hadn't thrown the packaging out yet!!
They then offered me a free gift and sent me a list with pictures. These can only be described as cheap useless things, that i've definitely seen on sites like SHEIN etc. I declined, especially as i wasn't prepared to wait any longer considering the 2 month delivery time.
Following this, they then offered a 5% refund. I declined again. They then offered me a 10% refund, and I was refunded £21 and some change. The refund was in my bank within a few days. Honestly, should have pushed for a bigger refund because the desk absolutely is not worth £200 but I cut my losses at that point.

When they offered the refund, they emailed at around 1am. Of course, I didn't reply due to sleeping. They then emailed again at around 4:30am asking me to reply. Again, I did not as I was sleeping! Very unprofessional and impatient at this point.

I wouldn't waste your time or money. Go to a more local and reputable company. We've been completely ripped off and considering the quality, the desk is probably worth £80 max. Better off buying from Amazon, and could probably get it cheaper. This company is definitely pocketing a huge profit off of awful quality items, which quite possibly could be returned items or resold items considering the state that it arrived in.

No option of leaving a review on their site either. There's a button that says write a review but it just redirects to a different page.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The item delivered does not match the photos or the description. It was advertised as “boho chic,” but what I received was a cabinet with cheap-looking plastic inserts that are not visible in the heavily edited product photos. On top of that, the cabinet arrived already damaged and of very poor quality.

In my opinion, this amounts to fraudulent misrepresentation. Anyone expecting authentic style and quality should stay away from this seller. I had to file a PayPal claim to get my money back because the seller refused to resolve the issue properly.

My conclusion: Avoid this seller – misleading photos, poor quality, and unreliable customer service.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. It took forever to receive the item. it didn't come with instructions. Finally sent them, the guy who put together said these instructions are terrible and it took him forever to put it together. The wood was chipped on the outside of the cabinet and scratches on the outside wood, pieces, not happy! No lights inside as shown in photo, deceiving. I asked for a partial refund and company refused and said we can give you a choice of some cheap trashy gifts or a 10% to 15% discount on your next order. No I will never order from them again!! Terrible! Don't order from this company.

Excellent Experience.

I received my executive chair today. The packaging was exceptionally well. My chair came fully assembled except putting on the wheels and mounting the chair to its legs. The material is real cowhide and the chair looks exactly like the picture. I am very pleased. I did not read these reviews before I ordered and tried to cancel. Customer service was very polite so I gave it a chance. No regrets.
