Never shipped item - blatant scam
Bought a guitar from this store through Reverb.
The seller gave me 2 dates when they would ship the guitar, and missed both. At no point did they communicate anything about the delays, I had to ask them every time. This is already 11 days into the sale.
After the second missed shipping date, they added a tracking number (requested by me), but still didn't ship it. According to them, creating the tracking number is actually shipping the item.
At this point I asked for a refund that was denied because the guitar was already shipped according to them. I have written confirmation from the carrier that they never picked up the package.
Once they got paid by Reverb (3 days after adding the tracking number) they stopped answering my messages and ignored my new refund request.
Avoid at all costs.
Update: Finally got them to issue the refund. They say the guitar was "lost in transit" but I have further confirmation from the carrier that they still haven't picked up the guitar. Plus, the listing for that same guitar is up again.
