Ordered a hat for my grandfathers…
Ordered a hat for my grandfathers funeral and paid an extra £20 for express delivery and it did not come within the time frame expected. I ordered on a Monday morning so it would be processed same day but i didn't get an email to say my order was being processed until the Wednesday, so because the order wasn't processed same day it wasn't going to arrive in time for the funeral on the Friday. It ended up being delivered the following Monday. The express delivery said 3-5 business days meaning that if they processed my order same day it would have arrived in time. I ended up having to buy a less desirable hat from amazon prime. I requested to return the item when it arrived because it did not arrive within the expected time frame and i had no use for it any more. The parcel was and still is unopened. They have said that they do not accept returns on sale items which is stated on their website. However, if they had processed the order when it was made instead of waiting almost 2 whole days, i would have had it when i needed it and i wouldn't have had to purchase a different one. Their customer service hasn't been very good at all. I'm £50 out of pocket and i have a hat i no longer want or need.
