Unprofessional company & incompetent management - AVOID!

Even if you are so lucky that nothing goes wrong, be aware of:
-poor diet (very low calorie, low-protein, unhealthy and unbalanced) that led to weight loss and feeling hungry even after meals
-poor hygiene practices (yoga mats not cleaned for the first few days and equipment for cleaning was provided only after several students asked for them; bathrooms used by the whole group cleaned only x1/week (this would not be acceptable in Europe even at a random train station); no soap/toilet paper at times; dirty hand towels and kitchen towels)
-poor quality course manual full of factual errors and grammar/spelling mistakes
-in terms of teaching - lots of YouTube videos watched in theoretical classes, classes were cancelled or rearranged at short notice.
-Neti pots didn’t arrive until half way through the training, then we were told ‘imagine if you had used it every day during your YTT’
If you are not so lucky and issues arise like they did in my 200 h YTT, be aware that the management is very unprofessional and the customer service is very poor. You will regret that you invested your precious time and money into this poorly-run company’s service. Do your research properly before you book so you don’t waste your once in a lifetime experience like I sadly did on a joke company like La Casa Shambala. Good luck!
